Rudy Fernandez was one of the most entertaining players in the league. I rmeeber he was a sharp shooter and a athletic player. But what happened to his career since he's not in the NBA!! This video below I found gives a good explanation:

Really? I thought he performed decently, just that the idiots on TNT (Kenny Smith and Reggie Miller in particular) didn't know anything about the players not black.
 
He was a fad just like his 3 goggles
 
What career? The guy was a streaky bench player for us and then went back to Euro ball when he realized that he wasn't good enough to get consistent playing time in the league. It's almost like asking "what happened to Victor Claver's career?"

Rudy was a very good player until he injured his back. He was one of the NBAs better bench players his rookie season.

Especially when they continued it *after* Kevin Harlen pointed out that he was the first Spanish player to play in the NBA and that he died.

They would of never said that in today’s society.
 
I had a cat named Rudy, but for Rudolf Nureyev. The Ariza hit broke him physically, he was never the same. I sometimes think of the planned Oden/Aldrich/Roy/Fernandez team. And how LMA is the only one to stay healthy.
 
Rudy joined the blazers a couple years too early for his own good. I think he'd have fit great in stotts' free flowing system.
