Mother in law is in the ICU on a ventilator. Not sure if she is going to make it. Father in law now headed to the hospital after coughing and blacking out in a car accident on the way to see her and then again following. Gonna be headed soon to the hospital.

Lost my mom last January and my dad died several Januaries ago. Not sure what is up with this month.

Chris, got you and yours in my thoughts!

Man...sorry, Chris. Glad your father-in-law is doing okay.

On your thread title question though:

"People die daily from causes ranging from common ailments, such as heart disease, to rare occurrences, such as getting hit by lightning. But during which month do the most deaths happen in the United States? The deadliest month in the U.S. is the one that heralds the New Year: January." https://www.livescience.com/deadlie...ily from causes, heralds the New Year: January.

So sorry to hear this Chris but it's pretty common for people to have setbacks in the deep of winter. The heat of mid-summer and the cold of mid-winter are often times when these things happen unfortunately. I'm really sorry you are dealing with this...My mom passed when the first snows hit in Iowa when her time came. I hope your family gets through this and sees another summer bro. Hang in there. Short version...fuck January!

Glad your father in law is doing okay. Goes without saying, but be the rock that your wife needs right now.

That makes sense

Sorry to hear of that. Hope it gets better as soon as possible.
