I share the same feelings as Paul Pierce. I just like looking at the whole mess and laughing at the Knicks... it's the most entertaining story in the NBA now that the Shaq-Kobe thing is over.

Believe me <Censored>, I get a good laugh out of it every night after I look at the box score. lmao

obviously no one understands that chemistry is one of the most important components to a team. the knicks simply did not have that this season. they upgraded to too much talent this year. larry brown was starting to like the team recently but now he is not feeling well. i personally do not like steve francis or marbury anymore just because they're idiots by speaking out against a HOF coach. take francis and marbury off the team and i think they're totally different and much better.also give up on the crawford thing you idiot. every player will have their bad games. crawford was playing the best basketball of his career this month and you think one bad game changes all that? :no3:

I agree with alot of your first part for once. But you didnt answer me.Why are you a Knicks fan?

i'm from new york and i was born a knicks fan. i'm also loyal regardless of how bad they are i still watch them. so i guess my answer would be loyalty.

Okay thank you.I guess this qustion is more for non-new yorkers?

The Knicks biggest problem is that the majority of their veterans, and the majority of their players, refuse to be criticized and coached by their coach... that is what is severly hurting this team.If Isiah Thomas doesn't atleast TRY to trade Marbury during the offseason, he really needs to re-think this whole front office thing.

isiah thomas clearly can't run a franchise. he is good at spotting talent that's it.

if your team sucks and your still a fan that shows true loyality to your team. If your team sucks and you abandon them, your not a true fan, your a fair weather fan. I watched every game of the bulls when jordan was on the team and after he left. i endured those horrible 5years but i still watched, so im glad to hear ur stickin with your team nykfan4life.about the knicks, they need leadership which starts with a new GM. unless he does something amazing this offseason, he needs to be fired. Larry Brown is not a good fit for this team. He only wants defensive minded players and the knicks lack that. He has basically said Curry is not a good fit for this team over and over. hes mentioned that he wants a center who rebounds and defends and we all know curry does neither. The thing that pisses me off the most about this team is the fact that they get to spend money like nothing, every year they sign another player while other teams have to stay under the cap. the nba should consider setting a limit to the amount of money a team can spend in a given year.

The problem with Larry Brown is he never sticks with a team for longer than 4 years or so. I think this team needs a coach that they know will stay with them for many years. There are already rumors that he may leave.

Exactly, Larrby Brown is overatted in my opinion..Hes a great coach, but he never stays in one place for very long. Id rather have an average coach who is commited to a franchise and commited to winning..

How can you be loyal to a team that doesn't care about winning or the fans?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BCB @ Apr 19 2006, 06:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>How can you be loyal to a team that doesn't care about winning or the fans?</div>easy, you keep watchin and hope they improve. we have no control over what an organization does and you never know what they are planning on doing. Are you saying, if suddenly ur team had a string of bad season and made a some bad moves youd stop watchin and stop cheering for them??
unsure.gif
They are obviously trying to improve cuz they keep signing players, i just think the wrong guy is in charge and hes making stupid moves.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BCB @ Apr 19 2006, 07:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>How can you be loyal to a team that doesn't care about winning or the fans?</div>because i'm not a frontrunner who only likes them when they play well. that's what a true fan does. this season was a nightmare but there are players who are committed to winning. i'm not gonna hide when they suck and come out when they're good.

ok hot shot. why do you like the hawks? they haven't seen a title or even sniffed a title in the last 40 years. the last time they won a division title was in 1994. :HAHAHA: :HAHAHA:

I actually have respect for nykfan for still liking the Knicks, and not suddenly turning over to a Nets fan. Im also the same way. No matter how bad the Raptors get they will always be the only team that I am a fan of. I endured the past couple of seasons, and I am happy that the Raps are finally looking promising. Playoffs in 1-2 years baby!

thanks cb4. i love my boys even though they sucked majorly last year. they have something to prove this year. i will never EVER be a nets fan. if the knicks moved to alaska i would be a knicks fan. since the nets are moving to brooklyn soon i think the rivalry is going to be like the mets and yanks.

Knick fan no matter what named after patrick ewing so im born a knick fan so i just ignore the boxscores
