For the ungrateful ones. A reminder of what Kidd has brought to the city of New Jersey.

1. Two Eastern Conference Championships along with 2 NBA Finals appearances. The only 2 in their NBA tenure. What could have easily been 3 straight Finals appearances if it wasn't for Kidd's injury against Detroit.

2. Four Atlantic Division Titles. Again, the teams only four in their NBA history.

3. A record six straight playoff appearances.

4. He was the first Net to lead the league in assists and did it in 2 consecutive seasons.

5. Twice named All-NBA first team.

6. Three times named All-NBA second team.

7. Named All-NBA Defensive first team 2 times.

8. Named All-NBA Defensive second team 4 times.

9. Named an All-Star 4 times.

10. He leads the Nets in triple doubles with 60.

All of this and a lot more, he accomplished as a Net. With the way he has been treated and by the way a lot of you are saying, good riddance. Might as well not mention the Finals appearances and playoff appearances. Why? Because all of this was done with Mr. Prima Donna, cry baby, quitter, and yeah, Mr. Ason Ki. All of what the Nets has accomplished with Kidd is tainted. So the next time someone runs his mouth off on Jason Kidd and talk about the Nets, better not be mentioning all of the above. Hey, like a lot of you say, the Nets don't need him. To Nets fans who said their thank you's and made their tribute to Kidd, I'm sure Jason appreciates it. Because he loved New Jersey.

This was too priceless not to quote for posterity.

The city of New Jersey

You've now proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that you are a fool. It is bad enough that you are a troll, but you aren't even a smart one.

And how do you know this?

Jason Kidd has proven through out his life that he only loves himself. That is part of what made him a great player.

The city of New Jersey? LOL Jizzy you're off the hook!

Also I love how points 5,6,7,8,9 are individual awards.

Insider you're just not very good at this. You should really concentrate on bucking this current trend of yours, buddy.

Only one thing is hilarious to me. Carter15Nets makes immature comments, and yet insider receives hate just because you don't agree with him.

Insider is recieving hate for the same reason as Carter15Nets: dumasery

Carter15Nets has a very long history with many of us. He is irrelevant unless people respond to his trolling.

Insider has spent the past few days making ridiculous statements on top of ridiculous statements

He should also be given credit for getting KMart and RJ more money than they deserve.

I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned by him. Maybe if we pool together we can help out that post, and perhaps make it worthy of reading.

Your even dumber than I thought. It's there because it is a part of the Nets. I understand you though, denial is very difficult, but it is part of the process.

Didn't need to mention it, because a lot of experts has said it already. Kidd did make other players a lot of money. Let me explain this to you like your a 3 year old (I think your 8 though). Because of Kidd, players around him made a more money because he made them better than they are actually are. Thus making them look good, which got them more money.

You don't need to explain it to me, I'm not the one who forgot about it in my whine list.

See there you go again trying to make some personal attack but failing because you have no concept of context. It's just fuel to the fire, my friend.

The all-defensive team is a part of the Nets?

haha please keep this up. The Nets board isn't treated to outside entertainers all that often.

as for denial, what am I in denial about? How many times can I say that "Kidd was great for this franchise but was a boob in his final year and I liked the trade" in the span of a couple days?

Eastern Conference basketball sucks. Every now and then, a squirrel finds a nut. In the end, West Coast wins. *I* could have passed the ball 20 times and set up my teamates to score.

Please, don't mention the finals appearances, J Kidd will appreciate that.

you forgot #11- jkidd played for us in his prime then got us harris, 2 1st rounders, diop and financial wiggle room when his skills were starting to wane...thank you, mr. kidd!!!

Hey, that trade works in so many ways. Nets got a 2010 unprotected pick and the Mavs right now look like they are in disarray. Coach could get fired. Kidd may not get that extension he wants (and we know how he reacts to that). In any case, Kidd will be 37 in 2010, Dirk will be 32, and other than Josh Howard (who looks REAL bad), they are all going to be in their mid-thirties. That pick could be a lottery pick in 2010.

i would welcome jkidd back for the minimum to backup devin harris and the opportunity to throw vintage alley oops to lebron james and ride his coattails for a title in 2010-11...

Actually 4 through 10 are all individual achievements. Not team achievements.

And you support Thorn and Kiki making the decisions about the Nets future?
</div>

And who else is there that would do a better job? Sure, Thorn's Midas touch may have diminished a bit, but I think he's still a great president. Done more for this franchise than ANYONE in Nets history, including any player.

He may not be the best at FA signings (partly due to the fact he made many of those signings to please Kidd). Draft decisions are hit and miss. But he has made some of the greatest trades this franchise has seen. Kidd for Marbury, the Houston 2001 draft deal, the Carter theft and now this Harris deal is looking like it will rank right up there with those trades (Diop, Harris & 2 picks looks good for our "Nets future" - I'd say). Find me a better GM right now than him thats out there and available.

And Kiki hasn't proven himself here yet. He is the sole reason Denver is where they are right now when he blew them up. Outside of that horrendous KMart contract he gave, he's done a decent job. So no, I dont have much of a problem with these guys at the helm. Obviously, you do.

Kiki actually has proven himself here, regarding trades. He was the one who got the Swift deal done and the DH deal. Thorn didn't have all that much to do with it.

But he still does have to prove himself concerning the draft. Which I am very excited to see.

I'm thinking the thread title needs to be changed to "What Kidd has done for himself"
