Of course in NFL but wha tabout the NBA. I admit I do talk smack too. Lets see in my grade there is a kid who loves Jason Terry, I don't even think he knows what team he's on just f*cking loves him. There's a Wizards fan who talks smack about the Wizards against me (he's funny though). There's a bulls fan, doesn't really talk alot of smack. A memphis fan, deaaaaaaaaar god, he sais the wizards suck, everytime he sais that I just remind him of the Grizzlies record. I think about 7 big wizards fans. 2 nuggets fans. A Lakers fan and a Warriors fan. I'm sure there are others that aren't coming to my head right now.

Most everyone at my school are Suns fans. Except for one of my friends who is a die-hard fan of all teams in Michigan, so he loves the Pistons...we always have to remind him of the Suns being (arguably) the best team in the NBA and the Pistons in the eastern conference...not even in first place there.

really, besides the grizzlies, the other NBA team alotve people like is Orlando, I guess its cause they were a pretty close team to Memphis b4 the griz got here..and probably cause hometown fav. Penny played there also.Memphis is more of a college city though...mostly being Memphis and Tennessee fans...and we usually dont get along on the topic.

Most people hate the Celtics because they suck right now. But watching these "lollipop kids" as Tommy put it is pretty damn entertaining, yet frustrating. People will hop back on when they're good again.

I hate people like that...but when they are in the Finals in so many yrs, they are wearing tennessee titan...oh I mean Boston Celtic shirts every damn day....UGH!!!!

Lakers or Warriors. I'm frmo the bay. A couple of Kings fans too.I'm one of the few Rockets fan.

I'm really the only guy who's an expert on the NBA in my school. It's a running joke how much I know. Like before our game yesterday I was telling everyone that Jason Terry wears three pairs of socks in a game and they were asking me about players and I could tell them all their stats. Anyway, everyone in my school is a fan of the Pacers because we live in Indiana but not a lot of them know that much about the NBA.

Wizards fans dominate my school.

One of my friends is a Cavs fan. He came here once...His name was AirLeBron.Umm, Miami fans and a couple Laker fans aswell.

Alot of Wizards Haters too.

Any team with a superstar, whoever won the Finals, Lakers and Suns.

Mainly Nuggets. Wasn't as noticeable until we got AI. That is about it. For football, I have a friend who loves the Colts since his bros friend played for them (Brad Pyatt, on the Rams now), one is from Ohio so he loves the Bengals, then some Falcons fans because of Keith Brooking! Nope, they don't even know who he is, of course because of Vick.

Mainly Lakers when I was in high school. Sixers fans as well. Those made up most of the fanbase. I was basically the only person at my school who liked the Mavericks. Laker fans had some field days in the sh*t talking department for sure. So far at college, it seems a bit more spread out. But I think that's more because of how people are fans of teams, moreso than a team.

Back in HS there was a ton of damn Spurs fans. I was pretty much the only Mav fan. A few people were just bandwagoners too. Like they loved the Lakers just because they were winning. Now that I'm in college here in LBK, there is a ton of Mav fans. Only thing is, they arent diehard like myself. They are just casual fans I guess. BTW-awesome damn sig Rok.

People at my school obviously enjoy watching the Raptors. But a few of them Like the Rockets, because Tmac and Yao are there, and is because it's their favourite players. Also got a few people I know that like the Suns.

QUOTE (Pacers fan forever @ Jan 24 2007, 06:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I'm really the only guy who's an expert on the NBA in my school. Most people at my school are fans of the Rockets or Spurs. Most of the Rockets fans have disappeared since we beat their asses, but the Spurs fans still rear their ugly heads frequently. Of course there are plenty of Mavs fans as well.

Mostly bandwagon Piston fans. Then the true Piston fans, and the Bulls fans. Then there are some Sixer fans, and some Lakers, and one Spur fan that I know of, but that's it pretty much.

Well in high school it was a big mix. In Oklahoma there is no stationed team. All kinds of people from different states. So there wasnt a main team. Hornets now, but everyone already has their favorites. Same thing with college its a mix. Oklahoma really isnt a big basketball state...only any level high school, college, and pro. Theres really not many NBA fans here. The black people here dont watch it, they just buy their jerseys and like the typical stars. NCCA football is the real deal here

For the NBA, there not many people who watch it. Most of the people at my lunch table support the Celtics while only 1 supports the Heat. For college basketball, one supports Florida, one supports LSU etc. But we mainly talk about football.

People at my school mainly like players. They don't have a favorite team. There's some Pacers fans, there's a Celtics fan I know, but mainly because of Rondo.

Haha wow lmao @ how far my school has fallen. I'll never forget in '05 when we lost to the Pacers and everyone had playoff fever. Today some kid in my economics class asked me "what the hells with the Celtics shirt and shorts today dude." I didn't even get to respond when my teacher said "he's not a bandwagon fan like everyone else in this school."I felt so special.

Let's see:Los Angeles Lakers: Too many fans to count. :dunno: That's what happens when you live in Southern California.Los Angeles Clippers: I know two guys, who are both twins by the way, who love the Clippers. Ever since I've known the two (Freshman year), the two have been in love with Elton Brand and Corey Maggette.New Jersey Nets: Me... :winkglasses:Cleveland Cavaliers: Only one guy. This guy doesn't really like the team as a whole, just a couple of players. He always wears LeBron James' jerseys. I think the few guys he admires off of the Cavs' roster are LeBron James, Damon Jones and Larry Hughes.Gilbert Arenas: There are three kids, whom I hardly speak to, in my AP US History class. These three guys do nothing but speak about Gilbert Arenas in their free time. When Agent 0 hit those two buzzer beaters a couple of weeks ago, these three guys raved on and on about how Gilbert is the greatest player in the league right now.Kobe Bryant: Well, all the Lakers' fans fall in this category, I guess. However, there is one guy who loves Kobe. He's on the Varsity basketball team at my school. He tries to play like Kobe, too. He does those fade away jumpers that Kobe always does. However, unlike Kobe, this dude just can't get on fire... at all!Houston Rockets & Sacramento Kings: One guy. He loves both teams. If the Rockets win, he wears a Tracy McGrady jersey or Yao Ming Western All-Star jersey. When the Kings win, he wears a Mike Bibby jersey and a very old and faded Chris Webber jersey. When both teams win, he wears any one of those jerseys. When both teams lose, he wears plain clothes.. Maybe that's the reason why he hardly wears his jerseys. :g:

We have a couple fans in my grade..and they talk about basketball everyday, and stuff..and I just sit there and im like..wow yall are dumb..we dont have many NBA fans at my school..

I haven't been in highschool for 30 years, but at work...sh*t. I got an intern who is a huge Suns fan. He had the last laugh after last years playoffs but, I always remind him that the Lakers have 14 NBA Championships and the Suns...well, have none.

a lot of people at my school are suns fans and theirs a couple of laker fans.
