Suggestions?

1. Slept with Delonte West's moms.
2. Called Paul Allen "a class A moron" and suggested that he "eat my poop" in earshot of a reporter.
3. Beat Paul Allen at Ms. Pacman one too many times.

I still think the rift between PA (Vulcan) and KP started with the Roy contract negotiation(s) then regressed through the Hedo debacle, another Oden injury, and the reason/impact of the Penn firing, which was probably the proverbial straw, and the biggest mystery that needs to be solved to unravel this monumental cluster fuck. I think it's a convoluted ball of shit that will never be fully understood. And it sucks. Every thing that seemed so bright is slowly darkening. I just pray the Blazers can find their way through this stretch without shitting their bed too much.

It couldn't have been too bad; otherwise, he'd have been given the boot a long time ago. Whatever it is, I hope it's something directly between KP and PA and that it's not been instigated by one of the lackeys at Vulcan. A GM has to be on the same page as the owner and if that's failed (for whatever reason), then it might make sense to make a change.

If it's a Vulcan idiot with some personal agenda, then this is an embarrasment to the franchise . . . and PA for that matter.

Didn't fire his agent when directed to.

It really is interesting, and without actually saying why it really makes the organization look bad.

With the way things are being handled the Blazer management looks very shady. Is he really losing his job over what Tom Penn said to a female employee?

I heard it was they embarressed Paul Allen's little buddy...Bert Kolde...

It's probably a little of everything mixed together. I don't think there's one single incident.

Firing KP over Oden would be silly. Not because it was the "right" decision, but because the disaster was (probably) unpredictable.

IMHO, it was last summer that was the begining of he end. His interest in Hedo was very misguided. His wasting of the team's #1 pick on Claver was an absurd act of hubris. (injuries are a fact of NBA life, and you don't waste a chance to add free talent)

Was that alone enough to get him fired? I seriously doubt it - but it may have lowered his stock enough to make him vulnerable. I still suspect that Penn (and their mutual agent) played a significant role in this mess.

+1 Execs who can't be bothered to tuck in their dress shirts or even wear a tie are a disgrace.

It's not a lack of being bothered as much as it's a look. Personally, I like it. He had the same attire during the M&G. To me, kind of made him part of "us".

He tosses out criticism around the league about Paul and Nate as if he owns the joint, even though it's McMillan who has made the team win, despite the ordinary roster Pritchard has obtained through inertia, and it's Allen who has enabled Pritchard's drafts, to the tune of at least $55M ($2-3M x 8 times + $30M Steve Francis + other stuff).

And then there are his insufferable worshippers. They'd be enough to get rid of him even if he WERE any good.

Keep calling people "chief" instead of by their name.

Do not care how good of a GM he was, that is annoying.

You're just a layman, though. Your word is cloaked with ignorance. Plus, he didn't toss out criticism about Nate, so you're also a liar.

Try harder?

7) Boinking Blazer cheerleaders.

They (management) didn't seem to mind when Kevin Duckworth was boinking her. She quit the squad at the time Duck was still playing (and a few years after he left the team) and did once again she got with KP.

The articles say that Pritchard was snickering to other GMs that he's worth more than McMillan, while complaining that he's underpaid at $800K. We already know that Nate makes $5M.

SMILE when you call me a liar. Where I come from, you lose your horse and I move onto your spread for that.

You lied, or at least stretched the known truth. Prove your claim that Prtichard badmouthed Nate, other than soem "articles" that I haven't read saying so.

Or, is the clown show your act here?

I think he counting the woj articles which is the only source pushing that view of kp.

Compare the woj articles to all of those who have said woj is way off base and has it in, personally, for KP.

Who looks like they're closer to the truth?
