Its human nature to place blame so who's responsible for all these injuries? I don't have a clue.

I have a clue, but not about the injuries....

The team needs an accupuncturist, a shaman voodo doctor from the rain forest of Amazon, or the Congo....and some serious training rehab therapists, wait they got all that....maybe its the lack of Vitamin S....(ducks and digs a hole)...!

I'd take the whole damn team to an Excorcist, me-thinks the curse of the Bambino has back fired....well maybe not....

On an honest note, tho' these players have been hurt in good weather.

During April, even halfway thru May, I expected as much out of all MLB Teams, when MLB was playing in freezing Weather....Geezus, MLB needs to downgrade back to a 152 game season, if they're going to play in ABSURD COLD weather, Snow even, (recall the 2 weeks [a few years back] when the Tribe could NOT play in Jacobs Field due to snow outs, Denver had some issues and so did the Tigers).....

It's only a matter of time, before we see a November World Series, with a snow out game or 3....! Not all teams want Domes, and climate control weather, so either do more double headers, or shorten the season....my preference compact it, keep the 164 game season, and lets play 2 more often, which separates the men from the Boys....

An old timer once told me how Stan Musial, (during a double-header he attended in Saint Louey hit 2 HR's in both games)....one of my own most memorable games in attendance was a double-header in 68, The A's of Reggie, Catfish, Blue et al. played the Mighty O's, Boog, Brooks, Frank R., and those incredible pitching staff(s)...!

As a kid and Fan, I loved double-headers more than anything. Yes, I do know, those back to back games take a helluva lot out of of players, physcially. But hey, that's why they make the money they make....! Yet, the entire team would be on the DL, IF they did as much....why....? Conditioning, the elements, lack of using certain substances, too borderline to PEDs,.....??????
'
Expand the Rosters too....so teams can play more double-headers, and remain competitive ALL Season Long....add 10 more players, and make this the norm...!

I know I know, I'm talking out my ass again....Doh::hcp:

No I agree, more double headers = more days off. Oh wait, can't be done. Its makes to much sense & we will have none of that in MLB.

I will donate a penny for every MLB game if they do more double headers, enabling more rest days. As well as MLB needs desperately to get these Teams out of sub-freezing weather.

We get WGN here, and I cannot recall in my entire old life, a winter so cold, setting all time records, for the coldest sub-zero days, and amount of snow fall. The weather trend the NOOA says will continue at least for another decade....

Watching those Cubs playing at Wrigley with full ski masks, high turtlenecks, and thermals on under their Unis- heck even some players had old Siberian style hats, I've never seen used prior in MLB. Those hats ya' know with the fold down ear flaps. Even the air looked like snowy mist.

How is anyone to play in this kinda weather for 6 weeks, at the start of the season, and again at the end of a season (in Playoffs), without blowing out frozen muscles of the arms, legs, et al....

Seriously, something has got to be done, ....BUT, I bet that's the last thing, not even on the MLB Commish/Owners agendas. The flipping lot of Morons....!!!

Just for clarification purposes for above prior post- no stuttering here, just Old Timers......I will donate a penny/cent/centavos to MLB for all 162 games, per team, if they use these cents to gain some sense and sensibility....(ya' get it, cents = sense), first they not only need to fire Selig, they need to dump him deep at sea.....

That way, they can no longer they have no common sense....! No excuses...! not after my hefty donation. 1 cent times 28 teams equates to only 45.36$ per person....A cent per game, if that's not enough, fire the whole effing lot of 'em...

I'll take whatever position MLB will give me, less a batboy or grounds crew man. We all deserve Admin front office positions, less Ron, as he's already making arrangements to take over Cashman (Blank Checkman's) job, and not even ask for peanuts or Cheetos to do so....a very humble man 'e is....!
