Honestly unless you luck out and get some tomorrow at face value.. the 60 bucks each on stub hub is the best youre gonna find.
Has anybody here used stubhub before? How does it work?

Stubhub is reliable. I got burned (by BLAZER fans) on craigslist last time, I agreed to meet someone to buy tickets....price agreed on.....I waited downtown for the dude, he never showed, I kept on calling him...nada. what a fucking flake.
Stubhub guarantees your tickets are legit..they have protection. The fees aren't so bad.
so if the tickets I'd like to "make available" are only at will call, my only option is craigslisting and hoping someone sends a check after the game?

Stubhub s**ks...it's relatively easy...log in/register/ find tix/pay ...etc...but what you don't see in the listing price is that StubHub will add a bunch of additional fees to that price. Your best bet is Craig's List.
for the playoffs, $5000!
You to!Nice avatar HCP!
Yeah that can happen, when I go craigslist I make sure that its someone who can email the tickets.. thats the option I have used in about 5 games I bought from there.
How do they know you'll pay if they email you the tickets?
usually they have you pay through paypal and they email when on the phone.
I probably sold 20 games this year on CraigsList - I email the buyer a PayPal invoice - they don't even need an account and can pay securely by credit card; then I email them the tix through the season ticket holder section of the Blazers' website.
So they have to trust me, but it hasn't been a problem all year - sometimes that surprises me but I guess when we chat on the phone they can tell I'm a season ticket holder and a fan, not some broker.
There's no extra cost to them; PayPal charges me about 3% (it's a sliding scale).
Sometimes the Blazer's website screws up the transfer, but I have the number of season ticket services inside the concourse and I can call even at gametime and the tickets will be left at will call under the buyer's name.
It's easy and the buyer can have his tickets in hand in five minutes. (I live an hour from Portland so I can't meet them.)
Yeah thats what I did last game I went to.. did you sell me tickets to the Utah game? lol I live an hour from Portland too.
No, I went to that game.
I live in Hood River too - I usually ask buyers where they are are, so if you had answered my ad we could have met at Double Mountain Brewpub and saved me the 3% paypal fee!
