Whats with all the breakdown threads?

I understand and love reading everybody's pre/post game breakdowns, but shouldn't that stuff be in the game threads? My timeline here is absolutely cluttered with everybody creating threads about what they saw and thought happened during the game. Not cracking on anybody, just seems like a lot of threads being created for everybody individual opinion. Any thoughts?

Right now I count "Game Thread", "Forensic Fan" and "S2 Postgame Analysis" threads.

Speaking only for myself, if I haven't posted in the game thread for a while I rarely go back and post, b/c I don't follow where bullet-style game threads end and talking about the game afterwards begin. And Forensic Fan is just something that's supposed to be fun, whether you want to put breakdowns in afterwards or not.

I guess what I'm saying is: I only see one post-game thread to post your thoughts, unless you count FF.

Agreed. I enjoy both threads, as well as going back to the game thread.

Seriously. I'd love to see a five minute breakdown of the Blazers top defensive plays last night. Show these fools how valuable Nico is to this team.

At the end of every game I put together whats called a melt. It is basically a 20-30 minute recap of the game with all the raw footage not edited. I send it to the NBA and local news stations. The guys that put together all the highlights you see on trailblazers.com use this footage. If you guys want to see certain things, like a bunch of examples of fast breaks or 3s, have our S2 reps here contact their Blazer people and see what they say. It's impossible to save everything that happens during a game, but if I see trends happening, I usually grab it.

HCP had no control of what the refs were looking at. It comes from NJ now
