Curious.

Me? Strongly considering Big Al's. It's my 15th wedding anniversary, but the wife has graciously allowed me to watch the draft..........................with her. Actually, she really likes that place. :ghoti:

If I were going to drive to Portland just to watch the draft, I would head to the Broadway Cigar Lounge in the Hollywood district. No booze - but leather chairs and couches, free coffee, and (of course) excellent cigars.

As is, I will probably just watch ay home. :sigh:

drafts need to be watched at a computer with 4-5 windows opened to various rumor sites.

Absolutely. That said I'll most likely have my laptop with me @ Big Al's

 that's the way to do it.

I'll probably be in my office for most of the first round, stuck in traffic when the Blazers pick.

Bummer.

Looks like we'll get there in time to dine and enjoy libations while watching the Blazers' 1st Round and top two 2nd Round picks. She wants to go bowling there following that. Should be a rather fun evening..................

Friend Courtney is coming over... so very unlikely I'll be able to watch it. Don't think she cares too much.

I'll be watching with 4-5 friends at my house, but I'll have my laptop with me for rumors. Beer + Draft = Fun.

I'm taking off work early, grilling some ribs, lounging around in my Lazy-Boy and taking it in without inturruptions. ABM, you're welcome to swing by.

I'll be home, watching. And preparing to drink (in celebration or in disappointment... booze wins either way) afterwards.

So, really, the only difference between a draft under Nash and a draft under Pritchard is how the hang-over feels the next day?

I'm prepared to end Thursday without a new player. I don't think we're going to use any of our picks with the exception of perhaps stashing one in Europe for a few years.

That being said, I'll be listening to 95.5 The Game on the web all day waiting for Blazer news. At night, I'll watch the draft with my son.

having a draft party at my friends house, 2nd year in a row, hope its as good as last years!

Laptop.
TV onto the Draft.
95.5 on the radio.
Ready to complain/celebrate on this board.

Especially if it is your anniversary, might I suggest dot donuts across the parking lot from Big Al's? A former employee of my stepfather owns it and it is very good.

As for me, my mom and stepfather and I are going out so they can get new iPhones that day, my mom is giving me her old 3G iPhone, I have the first generation. I think they are planning on doing it at the end of the day, but I might try to convince them to do it earlier and then go to a sports bar, maybe Big Al's with ABM if we end up in that direction, or the Portland version, Grand Central Bowl if we don't. If none of this works out, I'll probably be at Free Geek.

I don't get hung over. I'm extremely well hydrated.

Damn ABM she's a keeper.

I can remember some tense moments during the draft order selection when the Blazers should have been in top 3 but got 4th... when right as the order was being announced my wife said I needed to do something and I am not sure what I said... but I am guessing it wasn't good.

I will be at home or I might have some type of sports practice or game so I have to DVR it and watch later.

I'll be at home but my draft watching will be somewhat interrupted - with a late meeting Friday at work and the Parade all weekend (two parades actually, Saturday & Sunday) I have to spend Thursday evening doing most of my weekend stuff, or as much as I can until I fall asleep. I'll tape it in case I miss any hot KP deals. And will keep my computer on so I can drop in if I get a second and there is something to chat about.

my wife is the wedding coordinator for a couple at our church, and we were both invited to the rehearsal dinner.

My wife knew my plans for Thu night, and respectfully declined for me.

I can't believe I will be out of town on business. Draft day is the best.

It looks like the phone will have to wait for Friday, so I will be at a sports bar it appears, I just need to decide which one. You want somebody to crash your anniversary party, ABM?
