I think if any of these is likely to happen, it would be another 652 saves... It's still a relatively new stat/position...

Then I would think that you'd also have to add the 62 saves (season). I also think that Mark Reynolds SO mark of 223 will be broken. I remember when Bonds (bobby) held the mark of (187) seemed like 30 years. But then guys like Reynolds & Adam Dunn just shattered it.

400 Average - last one Ted Williams 1941 Doubtful
56 game hitting streak - DiMaggio 1941never as in a game you may see three different pitchers
262 hits - Ichiro Suzuki 2004possible as im sure we will see another slap hitter with speed
191 RBI - Hack Wilson 1930never just don't see a player playing enough games to do so
61 home runs - Roger Maris 1961likely as I am sure there will be a turn around in hitting with smaller parks
756 home runs - Henry Aaron never careers wont last long enough
223 strike outs - Mark Reynolds 2009no, eventually managers will figure out the all or nothing method blows
130 Stolen bases - Ricky Henderson 1982not even close thank you billy beane
4,256 hits - Pete Rosenot even close as players wont hang around long enough

383 strike outs (season) - Nolan Ryan 1973no more 4 man staffs, not many complete games and tommy john surgery, so easy NO
62 saves (season) - Francisco Rodriquez 2008very possible as Rodriquez was good but not a great pitcher
652 career saves - Mariano Riveranot possible you need to have a long career and play for a dominate team

ok hows that for answers

What Mo and Hoffman did save wise was ridiculous. Not only do you have to be a solid closer but you also need to be on good teams.

...one record that will never be broken is Johnny VanDermeer's 2 consecutive no hitters...someone would have to pitch 2 in a row to tie it and 3 in a row to break it.

throwing back to back complete games is almost impossible never mind no hitters lol

I didn't include the obvious ones that will never be broken, VanDemeer, Bonds walk records, Ripkins record or Ryan's 7 no hitters.
