Who are the best foreign-born players in Blazer history?

Would've liked to see more Drazen, or a pre-crippled Sabas. Body of work goes to Sabas.

I know, earth-shattering, right?

The best foreign player in NBA history is Dennis Rodman.

Sabonis and Petrovic are neck and neck....what no Patty Mills or Victor Claver love here?

CLYDE THE GLYDE DREXLER. HE IS NOT A NATIVE AMERICAN, THEREFORE HE IS A FOREIGN BORN PLAYER.

Based on body of work, it almost has to be Nic at this point - but will certainly be shortly. Clearly Sabonis would have won had he come over and joined with the Drexler teams.

I don't think Petrovic was as good as Sabas.

I would say he was arguably better as a player he just didn't get to show it. So for us it is Sabas cus this asks in Blazer history. In NBA history I might say Petrovic. In Basketball in general (international, NBA, everywhere) it is Sabas no doubt.

Well, so wait, is the question "who is the best foreign born player in Blazer history," or is the question "who is the best foreign born player to don a Blazers jersey? Because if the requirement is a player who did the best as a blazer, you might be right.

Ya, no idea. Could be taken either way.

I think Batum will end up being the best foreign player for us.

Sabonis for now though.

It's really only between Sabonis, Drazen and Batum... Look at point totals as Blazers

Sabonis: 5629

Batum: 4726

Petrovic: 663

Prime pre-injury, pre-Blazers Sabonis was one of the greatest basketball players in history. Better than that dis-respecting douche Shaq-a-fool even hoped to be. Pity we couldn't get him over in time to beat the Bulls.

Batum will pass Sabonis as far as his Blazers contributions go, due to longevity and that this team will surpass the Sabas Blazers in post season accomplishments.

For now: Sabas, no question.

I really hope so, we have to surpass make a Finals birth in order to beat those old teams accomplishments.

Sabonis, from his time with Portland, is overrated. Completely choked in Game 7 of 2000 WCF. Batum is best ever.
