Who are top10 free agents you want my Blazers to pursue?

BTW, your doing a damn good job of it today. Not that you need my approval or encouragement, but just wanted to say that the effort is noticeable and effective.

No one has pissed me off yet. It will come at some point. Can't help it, unfortunately

Wonder what they'd want in a S&T? I'd be ok giving up anyone not in the starting 5 except for trob

funny, I'd have no probs sending them Trob as I want a more experienced backup PF or backup PF/C, Jordan Hill could easily be had for the MLE or less (about what Trob gets paid). So we could perhaps land Bradley and Hill and still have the BAE and maybe a smaller part of the MLE left.

I'd much rather keep trob over Jordan hill

Agreed. I'd hope a CJ/MyLe pairing might be a good start for a Bradley deal.

Barton/Bradley/Aminu/TRob/(BAE center)--that's not a bad bench.

I'd rather trade Barton than McCollum. Not sure who has more value in a trade, but CJ fits our system better.

Barton fits better alongside Bradley, IMO

Is Bradley a good defender?

Bradley and Patrick Beverley are both allowed to use their hands on the perimeter to defend.

I wonder if the refs would allow Bradley to continue mugging opposing PGs on the perimeter if he became a Blazer. It's a moot point, anyhow, because it's doubtful he would want to come off the bench for 25 mpg at this point of his career.

Where's he going to get a starting job though? People say this a lot about free agents, they won't be willing to come off the bench, will want more minutes... But where is that really going to happen? Chances are if he can get good money and a defined role, he's likely to take it.

Especially if it's on a good team near his home.

Yeah agreed. Its all about waiting for the first few waves of free agents to sign. That humbles guys hoping for a job. Take Mo Williams last summer, he initially wanted a multi year contract as a starter for a winner. He settled for a backup role at $2.5 million. Once all the good starting jobs are taken the remaining free agents are just looking to get money, some sort of a role, and hopefully stay away from the terrible teams.

Trevor Ariza, Shaun Livingston that's it. The rest is a bunch of nonsense.

Well, I dunno about YOUR Blazers, but here are the ones that (a) I think we might actually have a prayer of landing (i.e., not Lebron) and (b) I would like on the Portland Trailblazers (in no particular order):

Shaun Livingston
Luol Deng
Channing Frye
Trevor Ariza
Pau Gasol
Boris Diaw
PJ Tucker

Okay, that's about it. Isaiah Thomas is another short gunner, doesn't interest me. Vince Carter and Shawn Marion are just too damn old. Hawes is pretty meh - I liked him enough when Philly were offloading him to tank more but don't like the idea of actually paying money for him. Monroe would be too expensive and doesn't really fit.

Your only post is to bump my 6 week old thread? Thanks, I think

Actually, it's a timely, interesting thread. Good thing PapaG's not around to tell Bigger to bug off.

In PapaG's memory, I'll do it.

So there is hidden trickery involved in becoming a Slavic midwife?

No, there may be hidden trickery in who Bigger is!
