With all this buzz of who and who isn`t running, I wanna see who you guys would like to see run the country in the next election.

Personally, as of right now, it`s either Hilary or Obama. I lean towards Obama, but I know that a Hilary Clinton white house means a Bill Clinton white house all over again. Still, it`s a little early, so we`ll see what happens.

yea its way to early to see.. the candidates are just now setting everything up. As for the frontrunners..Im not sure. Im a registered democrat and voted for kerry last time, but i will have to see everyone's views. Hiliary doesnt want to make her mind up about the war. She said if she was bush the war would of never started but then again she voted FOR the war in the senate soo Im not sure what to think about that. Obama is okay I love some his views and almost hate some others. He seems to be a true liberal. I think people should work for there money instead having there hand expecting for people to hand it to them. Also obama was raised in a muslim household so im not sure how that will work out with other americans. As for the republican side I havent seen who is running but I will listen to there views equally but I think we need to put a democrat in the house..also i think thats what the average voter is thinking too

If they're smarter than Bush, they get a pass regardless.

O_O

I got Barack.

I don't see any strong canidates from either side at this point.

Really? Obama and Hillary Clinton are both better candidates than we've had since Bill Clinton. Plus, it looks like Giuliani and McCain are going to run on the Republican side, and those are two republicans I can actually tolerate.

I haven't heard any real solutions coming from any of them.

I mean it doesnt really concern me much (since I'm Australian), but I'd like to see Hilary Clinton win it, I think its time for a woman president.

If Giuliani ran, I think I would consider him. I also like Obama.

Worst post ever made.

I fully back Obama, I don't want to see a woman president but I guess Hillary would be my choice if we had to. No republicans please, although McCain is decent. I don't like Giuliani.

I like Obama and Guiliani (although he definitely won't garner the full support of his own party). I still think Hillary's the strongest candidate, but Barack's intriguing.

I've heard so many bad things about Hillary (nothing with substance though), but this Obama guy seems like a good fella.

which is why he's the anti-christ. Seriously now

Yeah, you kinda wonder a little about a guy with no dirty record.

No, I'm being serious. I saw this show on History channel about the anti-christ. Apparently he's supposed to be this handsome, kind, loving type of guy who will step in and solve all the problems of war and etc. The whole world will love him, and Obama (the antichrist) will catch everyone off guard and turn into the anti-christ. The show also mentioned that the world will end in 2012, so if it is indeed true, that makes Obama the anti-christ

btw, this is just what I got from the show, so don't think I'm some kind of crazy psycopath or anything

When's the last time you did hear real solutions coming from a presidential candidate? You have unrealistic expectations if you think you're going to find a candidate with all the answers.

My god, he must be stopped! Fortunately, I am God, and myself, so he will pose no threat.

IT concerns me a little (as an Aussie) since I am applying for the defence force, I just hope whoever is in will pull the US out of Iraq and we will soon follow.

You'll hear them when they start having panel debates. Right now the canidates are justs posturing for support and will say what the people want to hear. I want a president who's ready to start fixing the problems in the US and not one who's fixated on the problems of other countries.

I'ma smack you with your keyboard if you don't stop.

Barrack Obama has done some dirt, he tried cocaine and used weed when he was a teenager, and he came out with this publicly as well--at least he was honest. Of course he has been clean.

I honestly think he cares about improving home rather than improving somebody elses country. Which is why I'll vote for him if he decides to run.

someone to drop gas prices

lol i have to pay attention cause this is the first election i can vote

i tihnk who ever has the strongest anti-abortion views anti-war views, will win

I can't see myself voting for Hilary, I can't stand politicians who are super extreme on one side or the other and she seems way too left wing for me. Don't know much about Obama's politics but he doesn't seem as crazily liberal so I would probably vote for him, Guliani would also be acceptable since I'm sure he knows how to balance his views and keep everyone happy.

Of course if Hilary was elected and she was basically just like Bill Clinton then I would be satisfied as well.

That really was a ridiculous post you made though.

I've watched those shows on the History Channel and I don't recall that they ever said anything about the world ending in 2012. I believe the Mayans (or a similar group, I'm too lazy to look it up) think the world will end in 2012, not Christians.

Hilary Clinton won't win the democratic nomination - period. I am not a sexist by any means but America is not ready to elect a female President.

I like John McCain, but his hopes don't look to promising because of his firm stance on the war. On a positive note, at least he doesn't flip-flop on his opinion - you know where he stands.

Everyone has skeletons in thier closet but Guiliani has WAY to many skeletons in his closet. He has no experience in any position higher then Mayor of NYC. There is flat out no way he wins the Republican nomination.

Obama is the interesting one. He is very young and relatively inexperienced at the national level. Since he hasn't been around long, he hasn't been able to get accustomed to the politcal life in Washington as much as the others. One very interesting thing about him is his background especially growing up with a Muslim influence. Personally, I think he is the only person running that has a legitimate chance of having peace in the middle east with the Arab world.

I think Obama will win the election.

See thats thing he didn't really grow up under a Muslim influence. His mom remarried an Indonessian man and he was in Indonessia for a couple of years therefore he HAD to go to a Muslim school. I'm just saying this because its a misconception that Barack Obama is muslim, people have actually told me "I wouldn't vote for him, he is a muslim"

Yea, I remember Fox News started making such a big deal about him learning in a madrasa, which could've provided a fundamentalist education. Then when CNN actually bothered to check up on it, they found it was just a typical private school. I don't see that as a big issue.
