Who is on your ignore list and why?

I am interested in reading everyone on here, but I understand there are those who prefer to screen who they read. I know I'm on more than a few (which may limit the responses to this thread as I assume they can't read it anyway), but I'm just curious if you have an ignore list, who is on it and why?

For the record, no one is on mine. I read everyone's posts no matter how idiotic.

maris and jlprk for me. There's people whose opinions I might usually not agree with, but I don't find that a reason to just completely ignore them, that seems foolish to me. And there's people that might embellish their true self on here. But those are the only 2 who just completely play a fictional character on here, and I get no value out of reading either of them, so finally just blocked it.

Those are exactly the same two I would block, and for the same reasons. I don't get why anyone would waste their time trolling the way they do, but to each their own I guess.

I used to ignore people who were doing more trolling and degrading than anything esle, but adopted Maxi's view in time. So I no longer have people on ignore.

I will ignore this thread's nattering about me. I have never put anyone on ignore and never will.

...although there are a lot of boring threads I skim through fast. This one's pretty good, though. Finally my talents are recognized.

No one is. Putting people on the ignore list is extremely childish. Frankly, it's a stupid feature to have, IMO. If someone is so bad, the mods will take care of it

Sometimes I wish I would have BigDamien on ignore; but I just don't believe in that shit. I don't like how he starts threads "Asking what would you do, blah, blah, blah" then post no answer for himself. I also loath the trades he suggests. But he is a fan and he's part of this community. I'm hoping he gets it soon.

I reset my ignore list at the beginning of each season, and give myself a chance to read everyone again... But right now, there are entire pages of OT threads where I can't see a single post

I'd ignore HCP. But I find this board is a useful tool in gauging when the coast is clear with Mrs. HCP.

So, for this one purpose alone, I have not ignored HCP. Everyone else is safe.

I could understand why people would put jlprk on ignore, but after several years of reading of his posts he has become one of my favorite posters here. PapaG is the only person I have ever ignored, because he is the biggest troll here, but currently I do not have him ignored.
