With Batum out for tonight and possibly tomorrow as it's they have a back-to-back, who should start in his place?

I think most likely Wright. That's the direction Stotts went when LA was out.

Should the fact the Marvin Williams starts at PF for the Hornets effect this decision at all?

Give me Claver, him and MKG would cancel each other out and I like our chances with Dame, Wes and LA going against Kemba, Stephenson and Big Al.

Start Blake. Move Dame to the 2, and Matthews to the 3.

With the front court depth and talent we have, I haven't seen that much success playing 3 guard small ball

What would you guys think about giving Crabbe a shot? I would actually like to see what he could do starting.

I mentioned this is another thread but I think this is the perfect opportunity. And I think he would be good will all starters

We need to put Lillard on their best scorer. He has the highest defensive ability this season! He is our new go to defensive stopper!

I'd be fine with this as well. Although I still like Barton over Crabbe. Wright is useless and needs to be cut.

Barton can't shoot consistently. He's fine as a spark plug off the bench, but he's simply not good enough to play starter minutes.

I don't understand all the hate for Wright. His D looked good in the preseason and his 3 point shooting is always a plus (which also looked good in the preseason). He's a vet. He'll probably get the start.

Who it will be and who it should be are two different answers.

You do realize that of our first three guys off the bench, maybe first four, that none of them are 3's, right?

And those answers are: Wright and Claver

I would bet money that Claver would put up nearly identical numbers as Batum (avg this year) given his minutes.

Ummmmm.... Nic has had two near triple doubles. I don't think Claver would do that.

sure. But you must know Meyers is dying to get a shot at the 3, right? We've seen different bench players for 7 games. Wright, Claver, Crabbe or Barton can play the 3. If it were me, I'd start Wright and give Claver the 2nd option but something tells me Barton will be that guy.

His assists would be decent but not like Nic's because he would not be allowed to initiate the offense as much as Nic does. His scoring would not be as high because he would not shoot very often.

His rebounds would be similar and his help D on the bigs would be good. But replacing Nic's D on PG's would be a HUGE loss.
