I really want to see Nic get more aggressive and look for his shot more. The #1 option is out and Dame can't do it by himself. This is (another) perfect opportunity for Nic to really step up and become one of the leaders of this team.

Time to feed the beast..... it's Rolo time!

I think Wes is going to kill it! In the paint and from the arc!

Robinson will get half of them (assuming he can stay on the court), and I expect Wright will see a lot more minutes and shots as well.

Stotts is going to suit up and play the 4.

Nic and Wesley both need to shoot more - and not just from outside. Both can get good looks from 10' and in.

But if they're taking LMA's shots, they should be shooting from the outside...:MARIS61:

I rarely see his full name; I did a double take while reading your post.

Tonight, Lillard. With no Parker in there(not that he's a great defender), would love to see him just go off for 50 on Patty and Corey.

it would be cool to see him gun for the franchise record. With him coming off his AS weekend debut it would be the perfect time to really grab everyones attention

I hope to see a ton more Batum pick and rolls, Rolo post ups and Lillard going HAM. I want a lot more CJ with the starters too!

Lillard first and foremost needs to step up and hit his shots. Then Batum needs to increase his shooting numbers, outside and inside. Also Wes needs to get open and get his.

With LaMarcus out, those three are going to have to really work at moving and at moving the ball. Pops is not just going to leave them open. So there is going to have to be a heavy dose of Batman to Robin pick and rolls. Wright and TRob, when they are in, are going to have to be ready, willing and able to look for shooters and kick the ball out.

Easy peasy.

Shoot, how did I forget CJ? His shooting has been a godsend.

I just hope Mo doesn't try to go "HAM". If he does and does well, someone will want me to eat those words. But the odds are not in his favor, so I hope he doesn't even try it.

I think Wessy should get 1/4 of LMA's post up looks, too. He's money in the post.

Nico is the go to guy with LA down in my opinion. Look for Robin to take his offense up a notch as well.

IMHO if we lose, it will be because of this...

Post up Wes.

I agree that both Wes and Batum need to step up and actually would rather see Wes be the volume shooter (v Batum).

But if there is ever a time for Lillard to take his game (and NBA reputation) up, this is it. Other stars on other teams were able to make up when another star went down. Lillard is a scorer by nature and now has even more of a green light. The NBA really pumped up Lillard as one of the faces of the future for the NBA. This would be a great time for Lillard to respond that. Several games in a row scoring big, leading teams to wins and getting the West NBA player of the week a couple of times is just what the Blazers need now that the playoff race is heating up . . . also wouldn't hurt his national NBA image. :)

(OK so I would never want to trade Lillard, but I actually think he is the one over rated Blazer (all in chorus "Booooooooo") . . . and wonder what teams would give for this budding superstar.)
