I was going to go with Williams, but I went with Lopez because he made Plumlee look like Duncan.

I'm going with Mo. I expect more from him, and he had a much better preseason than he displayed last night.

Re: Who was the most disappointing Blazer in game 1 @PHX

Most disappointing has to be Lopez. Seriously, he shouldn't have let Plumlee look like an allstar.

I said Wes.

I think you guys expect way too much from Mo and Lopez.

Mo is a really streaky player, but has vet savvy. If you expect him to challenge Wes for the starting job, I don't think he's that good. He's certainly bounced around enough to indicate nobody really wanted to keep him for the long term. If you lose your PG, he's the ideal guy to fill in.

Lopez is a backup C.

IMO

Wes hasn't looked very good during preseason or regular season. I expect him to be solid most nights.

I voted Mo Williams. I thought he would be a nice addition this year. He looked terrible, couldn't make a shot and terrible ball hog shot selection. Was worse than Jamal Crawford for us. I have been skeptical of Lopez as a starting center so I'm not as disappointed with him. But I thought Mo would be one of the best sixth men in the league.

On a single-game basis, Mo, but only because it sucks that he was off. But that's the way it goes with streaky players. Lopez had the best +/- of any of the starters by a long shot, and he was in when Phoenix's best +/- player was in, too. I'm not disappointed in him.

Mo was definitely not worse that Jamal; I think I saw Mo pass to Batum a few times. :ghoti:

It has to be the coach for the style of play. All shooter no basketball little defense and rebounding sucked. Point in paint always suck with this style of play but Fastbreak point don't have to be last but they were.

Now what player deserves credit for this evaluation? Perhaps the lot but I don't thinks so.

I agree, Wes made it like a 4 man team playing a sub par style of ball.

To be fair, all styles of basketball where you're playing 4-on-5 are subpar.

I expect Mo to have up and down games. That's what scorers coming off the bench do. If they scored super-consistently, they'd be starters.

I expected Wes to suck because he sucked throughout the preseason, and he's not the kind of guy who coasts even in preseason. Dude has some problems, and it won't be a quick fix. *Correction* There is a quick fix--try Wright as a starter.

Lopez was a complete disappointment to me. I thought he provided excellent interior defense in the preseason, but he was pretty badly exposed against Phoenix. Hopefully it's just jitters or getting caught off guard by Plumlee (I don't care what people say--Plumlee looked like a damned good player out there. He had some very legit moves.)

For the love of god. :eyeroll:

Still waiting on the answer of why his little playing time made him the most dissapointing, when in the 9 minutes he was out there, he looked good.

I'll await your decision to revoke this, and choose someone new. :)

I think the whole team was disappointing. Especially with what I seen in preseason. So I didn't pick just one. Even LA and Damian has something to work on. I don't think Damian has enough assists by his name. And I have a feeling this maybe a forever problem. He is a shoot first, pass second point guard like most NBA point guards are.

That's fine. Everyone just elevate defense.Really, that is where the game is won at.

You're not very good at detecting sarcasm, are you? Might want to get that checked out.

Not really, good basketball can be played and still lose. Better teams do it often when playing a better team.
A four man team is just not so good.

His eye roll is he was cracking a joke and you took him serious. Obviously he doesn't seriously believe what he posted. If you knew nik as long as I have, you would have seen that already

I don't believe that yet, But I do blame his coach for his game so far looking like you are correct.

I'd say everyone that isn't named Lillard/LA. Its hard to point out the smelliest turd when they all stink and are lined up next to each other.

Fair enough.

CJ. I still can't get over my disappointment over his injury.

I revoke your right to an opinion rookie.

"Learn the English then post."

(Somebody will be along shortly to explain that to you)

My vote was a tie for Kingspeed and Carlito.
