Joe Dumars, me.

In fact, I can't think of a single other player who didn't play for Portland that I liked.

MAYBE a young Shawn Kemp... put then he went and ruined by actually playing for us

Edit: Oh snap, I think I love Bosh too. I really like Bosh.

But THAT'S IT.

ever? michael jordan, but ill tell ya, lebron has 99% chance to surpass him as my favorite all time non blazer

I'm not a Blazers fan, but my answer is Jordan. If I was a Blazers fan, my answer would be the same.

1. Reggie Miller

2. Jason Williams (the one from Sacramento)

3. Allan Houston

I.Thomas (the player, not the GM)
M.Johnson
L.Bird
M.Jordan
H.Olajuwon
L.Odom (although he's not as much a favorite since he became a Laker and was a punk during a TB game last year)
D.Wade
G.Payton (former OSU Beaver!)
B.Barry (former OSU Beaver!)

Michael Jordan
Grant Hill
Kobe Bryant
Penny Hardaway
Tracy McGrady
LeBron James
Vince Carter
Magic Johnson
Larry Bird

What can I say, I love versatile perimeter players. Pippen is my favourite player ever, but since he's been a Blazer, he's not on the list.

I also really loved Hakeem Olajuwon and Gary Payton. Listing them separately, since they break the pattern of long, versatile perimeter players.

michael jordan
mitch richmond
mookie blaylock
loy vaught
dominique wilkins

Outside of former Ducks and Beavers...I was always fond of Fat Lever and Xavier McDaniel.

Hakeem
Dominique
David Thompson
Bill Russell
Wilt
John Havlicek
Willis Reed
Pete Maravich

I'm old and most of my favorite players were before the Blazers ever existed or when they first started up.

Elgin Baylor
Nate Thurmond
Gus Johnson
Pete Maravich
Larry Bird
Magic Johnson
Michael Jordon - more respect then liking. He was the greatest ever IMO
Bill Russell

Hakeem Olajuwon
Dwyane Wade
Rudy Gay
Russell Westbrook
Eddie Jones

I just don't get the infatuation with the uber star players like Bron and MJ..yea they are great..but..meh..guess i just don't like liking players everyone else does

Oscar Robertson. But in reality, I barely remember him. I had his poster though; and he was my first favorite player.

I liked Bob McAdoo; who we should have drafted instead of LaRue.

I liked Lew Alcindor, before he became a Laker. Not so much after that. He was good in Airplane, though. Well, not 'good', but as entertaining as anyone else.

I like Steve Nash.

I have to say I loved Gary Payton. It helped that I watched every home Beavers game he ever played in.

I also really liked Shawn Kemp from the first time I saw him. I've erased the painful memory of his Blazers "comeback" from my data banks.

I guess I'll stop there.

Malik Sealy (RIP) is probably the most random. Don't know why I liked the guy. I think he was one of my first basketball cards that I got. Got his rookie card in a pack. I liked Reggie Miller, Terrell Brandon, Penny Hardaway (God I kept wishing he'd get back).

Brent Barry and GP for their Beaver connections.

Eddie Jones is the only Laker I can remember liking while he was a Laker.

Ed Cota

Dikembe Mutombo

Hakeem Olajuwon wasn't an uberstar? Wade isn't an uberstar today? You're not exactly out on a limb liking them. ;)

I like great players because...their greatness is fun to watch. Why else like a player? I don't have beers with any of them.

MOstly the fun guys who actually look like they want to be there.

In no particular order.

Barkley ( seemd to have a lot of fun
Howard
Shaq
Nash
Bird
Dr J
Gervin
Maravich

I think that is about all.

My wife, of course.

If you meant non-Blazers players, John Stockton is the only that comes to mind at all.
