Go 30 minutes outside of Denvers city center and you've got cookie cutter subdivisions with sparse little clusters of commercial space that rent/sell for so much that no businesses move in, so you've got these ugly fucking insular suburbs with literally nothing to do. At least if you're living in like the Portland area or up in Washington, getting priced out into the suburbs still leaves you with plenty of access to nature and some absolutely beautiful beautiful parks. I won't be watching tonight but I want to give credit to Dikembe Mutombo who was so much fun to watch on the defensive end of the court. He was such an amazing humanitarian giving seemingly all of his spare time to causes that helped his native country the Democratic Republic of the Congo and his home continent of Africa.

He was a great man taken to soon from us by the thing we could blame every game which is of course cancer. So among other things to say FUCK YOU CANCER for, I blame cancer for robbing all of us and especially the people of Africa of Mutumbo's presence and his unyielding efforts to make the lives of others better. Fuck you cancer for taking Dikembe away from us! We can still remember him and everyone this vicious disease has taken too soon.
