As to who is to blame Denver, well, don't want to bring up really bad shit. School shooting and nuclear waste. So I blame map makers for making state square and forever causing confusion on map between two square states.
 
Today (well, tomorrow really), my ire will be directed toward Robert C Baker, the food science professor who invented the chicken nugget, which paved the way for McDonalds McNuggets to replace the far superior Chalupa as the 100-point giveaway item. Dude died 20 years ago, but I don't care--he created a problem that lives on in perpetuity, and he deserves to be continuously and repeatedly excoriated for it.

I blame Neil Olshey and the Rocky Mountains. The Rocky Mountains because, if they didn't exist, Colorado would just be another crappy fly-over desert ravaged state, and there would be no Denver Nuggets. Olshey because, if he hadn't traded away all of our 2014 picks and if the Nuggets didn't exist, maybe the Blazers would have drafted Jokic. Screw the Rockies and the rocks in Olshey's head.
