I blame the shenanigans of the NBA. You see there was the team called Charlotte Hornets that relocated to New Orleans (a city long ago that lost their own franchise). Then they had to relocate to OKC for temp purposes because of hurricanes and such. This caused OKC to steal the Sonics of Seattle when the team got sold. All the while the city of Charlotte gets a new franchise and calls themselves the Bobcats. Then the team in New Orleans decides to change their name to the Pelicans, which later the leads to the team in Charlotte to reclaim the lost team name of Hornets. This also means that when Seattle wants a NBA team they will have to pay for a new franchise just like Charlotte had to. By the way the Charlotte Hornets are who the Trail Blazers are playing tonight.
