Meyers, Crabbe, Claver, Barton. Rather than gathering butt splinters, maybe they can go and play a bit in the D-league.

Meyers should definitely go there. I can see them wanting to keep a couple of 3rd stringers though for injury's or foul trouble.

Why? Because the D league sucks. They are much better off practicing with the team.

Meyers needs more then the dleague.... He needs a set of balls and a talent infusion

Sending Leonard to the D-League means there are only two centers on the active roster. Meyers has been on the active list nearly every game. Plus, bodies are needed for practices.

I thought the player has to be brought up from the D-League before he gets traded?

Possibly but that is not a big deal at all because the player still is on the teams roster even when in the D-League. Teams send down and then bring up players all the time. I remember in the past we sent a player down for only 1 game then brought him right back up.

The D-league will give them both coaching and playing time. I think it's a darn good idea rather than being practice dummies and victory cigars.

I'm sure they will go down at some point. Perhaps the players want to wait until after the holidays.
