I get it, he's young, but he barely has any playoff experience, and he is being overpayed.

What is he good at anyways? Is he a shooter, is he a slasher? I never understood why Deng was so great.....
 
Cause he is at least 2 times better than any SF we currently have on our roster.
 
He's pretty overpaid, and doesn't do any one thing well.
 
Great mid-range shooter, can rebound, can also shoot the 3 ball, and I think he's a pretty good defender.
 
He's good at all facets of the game, even if he does nothing at stand-out levels right now. Plus, he's been producing very well at a young age, which suggests that as he approaches his prime, he will become even better.

He's a little overpaid relative to his current production, but I think his deal is reasonable when factoring in future expectations.
 
He can play a little defense:

who are the blazers talking about giving up for Luol?

It doesn't really make too much sense for the Bulls though to take on guys like Miller and Salmons to be more competitive and then give up one of their best players.
