It's gonna be a royal/royless thrashing, anyway.

Crap, I'm already down in the dumps following the Falcons absolutely self-destructing in the 2nd half against the Cardinals.

That said, I certainly don't want an 0-fer-3 weekend (including last night's Blazer debacle.)

/rant

The same reasons we watched the Boston game. Maybe they lose, but maybe they win.

I'm just afraid to go 0-fer for the weekend.

Yeah, it could happen. But even with Roy they'd be the underdog. To me, to lose this game would be expected and I wouldn't feel too angry about it, not like losing to, say, OKC. But if they won, then I would really be glad I watched it.

I'll watch. Hope to see improvements from Bayless, the growth of Oden, if Aldridge takes command, and see how Rudy reacts to being a starter. PLus, it is the Blazers and I never will miss a game if I don't have to.

We watch because we are Blazer fans and we support them through wins and losses.

You got to be stronger then that. I watch every Grizzlies game I can even though I expect to loose.

The amount of fickleness within this fanbase is disgusting.

This is one of the few games I can watch on tv so that's enough reason for me!

OK, here's the deal:

The Blazers have played nearly the toughest scedule in the NBA thus far, are still on coarse to win 50 games, IMO will make the playoffs, and have met/esceeded my expectations to this point.

BUT I STILL DON'T WANT TO GO 0-FER FOR THE WEEKEND!!! I SENSE IT, AND SENSE IT LARGELY!!

Try watching/listening to every game or even driving 90 mins to about 10 games to watch the 2004-2005 Portland Trail Blazers...at least you guys have Mayo and Gay..we had the DYNAMIC duo of Ha and Bassy...what what

My schedule does not show a game on TV. How are you all watching? I don't have comcastoff and was just wondering. I need to record it if it is on as I will not be available for game time. Help!!:sigh:

I don't watch Blazer games unless there is a 77.8% chance that they'll win.

It's on KGW in Portland.

Because you're a Blazers fan...?

With Roy out the rest of the team will touch the ball a lot more and hopefully the Sergio/Bayless tandem gets big minutes.

Fakers are going down.

I didn't even read this thread, but I'm going to say that you would watch this game BECAUSE YOU ARE A BLAZER FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How could you not!

If we can endure a 21-win season and even see guys like Bassy, Ha and Viktor beat the Lakers, there's no doubt I'll be watching. Rudy for 30, LMA for 25, Greg for 15-15, Bayless with 10, Blake with 15, let's do this!

16-1 is the Lakers home court record thus fare this season.

don't you mean 16-2 after tonight? Yeah baby, you heard what I said ... ummm ... OK, that probably won't happen, but I'll be watching to see growth; to see if guys are going to step up and fill the void like they did against the Celtics, or if they are going shrink like wilting violets as they did against the Hornets (this is more about LMA and Greg, than it is about Rudy and Bayless replacing Brandon's production).

I like watching games where the Blazers are big underdogs. If they lose, they were expected to lose, but if they win, it's a total rush. And even if they do lose, I will be looking for how certain young ones play, and hoping to see some glimpses of hope.

IF and I SAY IF!!!!!!! They let ODEN play the outside could be wide open for BLAKE and RUDY to have huge games. That's a big if though! Either way this game is a great learning lesson for our troops. Lord knows the Lakers will get the calls and Kobe and 1 will be rolling tonight. Can our boys play through it and make Gasol, Bynum and Walton beat us? Great test though!

Walton doesnt play 4th quarters...Ariza plays almost all the 4th every game the past several weeks

Falcons Never Had A Chance!! GO RED BIRDS!!

Falcons Never Had A Chance!! GO RED BIRDS!!

Why were they leading @ the half then?

IMO, that miscue to start the 3rd, ending in a TD was the key pivitol moment, though. That, and the defense letting down near the end of the game allowing Warner & Co. to get a first down from a 3rd & 22 situation. Had the Falcons not gone brain dead and stopped that (I'm sure then bringing on a BIG momentum boost), I would have given them better than even chances to march the field for the win.

Ahhh, well. Credit to the Cardinals for getting the job done.
