Why Greg Oden > Andrew Bynum

That said, the main difference between Oden and Biedrins this year was largely playing time. If Oden had played as many minutes as Biedrins, he'd have been at least as valuable.

Don't get me wrong, I love Greg. But it was his own fault that he didn't get the minutes that Biedrins got due to his excessive fouling. As soon as Greg learns to not foul, he will be money in the bank.

I know its been a while, but I never thanked you for changing that Pau Gasol toilet paper avatar.. it always reminded me of those creepy ass Charmin Commercials lol.

Dang. I don't know that I've ever experienced toilet paper that "leaves pieces behind."

Well, there was John Nash....

I agree it was his fault, due to fouling. That's why I agreed that Biedrins was better in 2008-09. But when Oden was actually on the floor, he was pretty close to Biedrins.

Greg Oden, age 21, fouls per 36 minutes: 6.5

Andris Biedrins, age 19 (his 2nd season. I'm ignoring his rookie season because he played so few minutes): 6.8
since then, he's been around 4.6

I know that Oden was older, but given the circumstances with his injury and all, they're fairly comparable. I wouldn't be surprised if Oden's foul rate dropped by 1 per game just because he's no longer whistled for rookie calls. Obviously, Oden still has some problems with foul trouble. Andris Biedrins' situation gives us some hope though that he'll manage to stop fouling so much after his rookie season.
