Sounds like a phony, but still funny. However, Amina, bet on it, the guys who post avatars of mutilated women and use "pussy" as a pejorative wil call YOU sexist!

The husband should be ashamed of himself. There's no excuse for poor auto maintenance.

I find this Sexist!!!

Cheating on a spouse is abhorrent. The way the responder ignored the issue was amusing, but not appropriate for a newspaper.

Really? I thought it was killer. Humor at it's finest.

And besides, by not addressing the secondary issue of marital infidelity the point is made. If it has to even be addressed then it's a waste of time. Throw the cheater out on his bare bum.

The problem is the wife is a dumbass. Seriously, he admitted the affair, won't do anything to rectify the situation and you need some advice on what to do?

It's not a real newspaper advice column, just a joke. Good one, IMO.

I find it odd that, in a society with over a 50% rate of people lying about covenantal vows ("divorce"), and "abstinence" being at best a joke, that having sex with someone outside of marriage is so vilified.

I love how all my married friends have to create elaborate lies to do anything. What the fuck man, be a fucking man.

Good point.

I think I can understand your logic, but I think that one can get a divorce without being unfaithful to your spouse first. A courtesy if you will. Or rather break it off first, and technically be cheating while the paperwork is going through.

Uh, divorce is still breaking a vow. That isn't being unfaithful?

Morality is rather continuous, not discrete. But what if the other person decided to divorce you? Did you think about that?

Does viewing internet porn qualify as being unfaithful?

Are you viewing "mutilated women"?

I'm not sure what that means exactly but crandc said something about them.

LoL. mutilated women? I take it, a women with breast implants is "mutilated".

I could see how someone might argue implants, airbrushing, and shaving ALL body hair is very artificial...

It depends upon your view of "unfaithful". Since you're not actually having sex with another than your wife, some would say 'no'. If it prevents you from having sex with your wife, some might say 'yes'. If it puts you in the mood and you end up laying your wife as a result, some might say 'no'. If Jesus words about lusting after another in your heart is in itself an act of infidelity, then maybe 'yes'.

why don't you ask your wife?

I'm assuming her answer would be "yes".

If it is only in one's loins, instead of one's heart, does it still count?

I'm surprised Jesus had the internetz, however. Didn't they all use 1200bps modems on a BBS those days?

I didn't say which person was being unfaithful. In the case of a divorce, one or both of the parties involved are breaking a vow. That is being unfaithful.

Just curious, would you prefer people wait longer to get married, to get to know the person better? Or is it just a matter of being more committed and put more effort into their marriages?
