Although little has been accomplished to minimize the billions of dollars of damage to our country's economy by BP's willful and criminal negligence, there's a fairly understandable reason nobody mentions it anymore.

Nearly every credible source that has come forward with evidence has been murdered.

Because the impact was overblown.and sensationalized, like.I said at the time.

Does the tin foil hat protect you from these conspiracy theories?

Greed prevents companies from doing this stuff on purpose. They want billions of dollars lining their pockets, not at the bottom of some ocean due to incompetent engineers.

It is the same reason why airplanes don't crash into each other that often. Companies dislike blowing up 50-million dollar machines.

Adam Smith said that the invisible hand guides the marketplace. Apparently the hand recuses itself from the mounting debt issue.

yeah. No one cares anymore because its all over

Yes for the dead people, no for their loved ones.

I swear I saw a commercial that had multiple people along the Gulf Coast saying it's better now than before the spill.

and since the Obama Administration must be in the pockets of Big Oil: "By early 2012 there will be more rigs in the Gulf designed to drill in its "deep water" — defined as 2,000 feet or deeper — than before the spill.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

They made a mistake and paid for it.

I have actually spoke to a few people from the gulf coast and they all say it's better than before. American's have always given people a second chance if they say "I'm sorry" and try to make things right.

I would have sex with the oil disaster for $100 million.

Of course Obama, and everyone else in our government ESPECIALLY THE MILITARY, takes their orders from the 1%. Duh.

And your logic is if we're sinking more wells that somehow means the oil spill has disappeared ande actually IMPROVED the gulf.

Dazzling thought process there.

No, my thought process is that if there are more wells now than before the ECOLOGICAL MELTDOWN DISASTER OF FOREVER!!!1!, and that since the Obama administration lifted the moratorium on sinking wells industry has come up with the R&D to do it deeper, safer and more profitably, while at the same time increasing the quality of life and business prospects of those living on the gulf...

that all of your ridiculousness and tin-foil stuff has been shown to be :MARIS61:, once again. WTF does the military have to do with 1% or Deepwater Horizon? Wasn't it government civilians (ahem) that shirked their duties and just signed off on the craptastic, cost-cutting plans that the 1%ers in the oil industry proposed? 🇭🇲
