My own preference(s) #3- &/Or #6'
Severino for 5-6 innings; hopefully 7 innings.
If Severino starts and runs into trouble bring on Happ for the last half of the game....

Call me crazy, just don't call me late for dinner...合掌

I would like to see Severino get a chance to *redeem* himself after last postseason...

1- Tank- more likely to go deep in a game avoiding a bullpen meltdown

2- Happ- more likely to give up less hits

3- Severino- would be my number one choice IF his next game is Stellar. Severino melted down in the playoffs last year. I would love to see him throw 8 solid innings. I believe he's more capable than the first two, IF... He's on, then he is more capable of giving us the attributes of #1 and #2, going deep in the game; with few too little hits...Imho...

4- let CC serve as a Reliever?? Probably a ridiculous idea wearing out a starter that will be much needed IF the Yanx win & proceed beyond the WC.

5- Other- Activate the Batboy, Or- a combination of everybody and anybody, probably a bad idea.

6- multiple starters, see #4 & #5...

  • Overall summary- we need a starter to go deep, keep the head countdown and keep the game close. Our Bullpen has shown us over the last week or two they cannot close the game. Not only is our Bullpen suspect they are a liability. Even more of a liability is baBoone
  • If our offense remains anemic number 1 through 6 will not matter. Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson, Whitey Ford and Juan Marichal could not win a game with this offense spluttering. If our offense is on and hot, Cesspool and Cole could win this game, maybe activate the Bat Boy...

* corrected typo: was- "read," is- s/b "redeem"

I suppose the default answer is Seve...but like you said, we need to have someone else waiting in the wings in case Seve pitches poorly.

I also think it's safe to say that considering how erratic out pitching has been, the offense is going to have to show up during the PS...I think we're just gonna have to somehow out slug the competition.

I voted for a combination of two starters. How many times have Yankee starters gone 7 or more innings?
Too far & few for me. My concern is which pitchers will BaBoone use? His decisions drive me crazier
than I am!

I would sign McCutchen in a heartbeat and let Gardner go...

Trashman and the kids had their heads up each other's asses when they said, we want the Under manager who can better connect with the players,,,, my holy ass.

I guess they never understood why Joe won manager of the year with a shity Marlins team. Because he could connect with and motivate the younger players. That was with a mop up team. This was a self-driving Cadillac ready to go to postseason with a frigging amateur driver

McCutchen, Hicks, Judge, with Frazier in reserve, that's a pretty good outfield. I feel Gardner is going to be odd man out. Ditto Biggie, he said he wants to pitch next year but I'dpreferHapp to be signed at a reasonable time and rate .
