<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As embarrassing as it was to lose at home to the NBA's worst team, the New Orleans Hornets, a person close to Knicks' president of basketball operations Isiah Thomas said coach Lenny Wilkens is not in immediate danger of losing his job.

"If that was going to happen, it would have happened already," said the person, who pointed out that the Knicks are currently without injured starters Jamal Crawford and Tim Thomas, which has forced Allan Houston to play far too many minutes. Houston remains well below his full capabilities.

The person didn't rule out Wilkens getting fired eventually.

exactly, but all in all this is interesting news to know.

All I can say is I hate Lenny Wilkens for being such a lousy coach and I hate Isiah Thomas for making dumb decisions including but not limited to, hiring Lenny Wilkens and not firing him earlier this season.
