Some local historians think they've found Oregon's oldest home, and say it may be the first ever proof of settlers before Lewis and Clark ever set foot in the Beaver State.

The working theory now, is that the log building was possibly made by Russian farmers who were sent overseas by Catherine the Great to settle in the Willamette valley.

...looks like we need a new version of The Oregon Trail video game now!

Russians or Californians..hmmm..can't decide which invasion would be the worst. One thing I know...Shatner is not getting our water!

My family invaded Oregon from Cali 100 years ago, We're basically the Norman vikings that settled in Normany and invaded England under William the Bastard.

That explains the Sioux connection..Vikings invades England, captured Native Americans, emigrated to California before invading Oregon right?

Embarrassingly enough, the Sioux ended up being French Canadian, the Californian is California Mission Indian, though. It could be Spanish vikings though, why not?
