Wait really? No pre or post game?Actually. No.
Now that you've changed your avatar I can like your posts again....good move bro!Blazers Broadcasting will have the normal PRE/HALF/POST game shows you are used to, just not during the preseason. We have not had them in past preseasons either.
Now a lot used to think the Pre-Pregame and Post-Post game shows had something to do with the Blazers, but they were actually Comcast and then NBCSports productions, nothing to do with us. Not even sure what the names of those shows were.
ROOT will NOT have additional programming the way NBCSports did. It will only be the normal PRE/HALF/POST show once the regular season kicks off.
youtubeHas Dan Marang found another job?
What’s the name of the show?youtube
I dont know who that is, sorry.Has Dan Marang found another job?
You guys actually watched those shows?Root gives 0 F's about Portland.
Well they have the Seattle Krakens though!Actually. No.

something like Jacked Ramseys.....he did a good interview with Greg Brown on it I watched...you and Chris should go that route with your podcast..you'd get a lot of hits and there's not that much Blazer content on youtubeWhat’s the name of the show?
Blazers front office doesn’t give a flying fuck about you or me or anyone else. If we had an NFL team they would be singing a different tune.I think this is a mistake move by the Blazers and is going to piss alot of old fans off and deter the ease of making new fans. It forced me to make and change as well as many others.
Many wont though.
This has nothing to do with the Blazers. This is a ROOT decision. They choose to not have extra coverage like NBCSports did. The Blazers content will be exactly the same.I think this is a mistake move by the Blazers and is going to piss alot of old fans off and deter the ease of making new fans. What exactly are you upset about?Blazers front office doesn’t give a flying fuck about you or me or anyone else.

What about DirecTV? They can now watch the team for the first time in 15 years.Blazers chose Root, which is not accessible to many without a change though. I meant Blazers mistake in going with Root.

I think some of this just takes time.i think many people are trying to drop the big three. Dish, dtv and comcast.
dish just dropped root.
I had to change and purchase direct tv. Because Root is having contract negotiation issues with many providers.
like many have posted, id much prefer to pay the Blazers directly for a streaming service or something.
I think some of this just takes time.
Ultimately I also think you will get that. Blazers make a bunch of money from tv deals. They have to work out a way to provide that and not lose revenue.
Yeah I think they were losing money because it was way too easy to pirate. They realized this and had to draw back. They’ll figure it out.oh i get it. But i personally much preferred the sports nw channel they had. It was accessible pretty much with any format desired.
things do take time but streaming has been a thing for years now and you would think with the tech savvy Blazers, they would be further along on this.
I hope so.Yeah I think they were losing money because it was way too easy to pirate. They realized this and had to draw back. They’ll figure it out.

Understand who owns it. Mariners and Warner media.Makes you wonder why they would pay crazy amount of money to show our games then
Hey people in Alaska will be able to watch now though
lol. Big hoops fans up there are they?
