<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sekou Smith of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution broke the news Wednesday that Al Harrington had fired his agent and was about to hire Arn Tellum. Harrington is apparently upset with the deal Indiana offered him. Now, suggests Smith, six teams including the Nets are likely to pursue the 6'-9" forward who grew up in Roselle and played for St. Patrick's in Elizabeth. Since Harrington wants around $60 million, the Nets would have to come up with a very creative sign-and-trade.</div>

I do not think that he can fit into the Nets budget, especially considering that Krstic will need to be extended in a couple of years. If the Nets sign Harrington, then Carter will not be resigned when his contract expires.

Another thing about Harrington that I do not like is that he demands the ball to be in his hands. The Nets will need him to do less of that and more defending and rebounding. If the Nets do get him, they will have great depth with Collins and Cliff coming off the bench.
