No thanks. Willie has proven that Oregon has the name and facilities to recruit with anyone in the nation. Chip isn't that great of a recruiter.

Willie is a GREAT coach and a cool black dude from Florida... that's like the best combo ever for a college football head coach for a school in a bad recruiting area. So whoever we hire is likely not gonna be able to recruit like Willie.

Bullshit. This is more turfed than even some of the most outlandish fake news I've read lately. Willie still has to prove he can win at the P5 conference level. Going to Gainesville would just undo all the work he and his staff has done and cause him a huge recruiting headache. Oregon jumped to hire him at just the right time. Chip might be interested though. He doesn't like spending a ton of time recruiting and Florida produces more division one talent than just about anybody. Frost is probably an even better candidate because all he did at Oregon was bitch at how hard it was to recruit here. He's done a really good job at UCF.
