I don't believe that this is an overall reflection of the gun industry as a whole. I think that this is a reflection of declining gun sales in the face of a stable pro-gun Administration.

What I see is this: that FFLs are going to suffer, as they should, because it means they no longer get a free ride to jack up prices when customers panic. Which was a huge problem under Obama.

Now that Trump and a pro-gun Congress are in place, FFLs can no longer take advantage of panic-buying to dupe gullible, first-time buyers.

This is a good thing, ultimately. It means prices will fall on products, and product surplus will rise. It will also stimulate gun companies to keep providing new products as yesterday's stock sits on the shelves of gun stores and collects dust.

This is a good thing. I mean...you know....it's bad for FFLs, but most of them are sleeze bags anyways.
