There is also Taylordle for all you Taylor Swift fans. Quardle if you want to try to solve 4 words at once or Octordle for 8 words. My daughter does those three.

I tried it too. Took me seven guesses. It's a lot different when it doesn't start with the word already chosen.

Did it again and got it in six. Going to try to do better. I don't think it picks a word till after your 2nd guess...at least after the first so you can't get it in 1.

If you read the rules, it can/will change the word at any point based on your guesses. Its whole goal is to evade your efforts without breaking the rules.

Oh at any point dang. I try to use the most letters I can to give it fewer options. I start with a word, the use a a word on my second try of completely different letters. Then a word with the letters remaining for the third.

You have to back it into a corner by limiting the number of words it can choose/change to

Not at all. the first four words eliminated 17 letters, and most of what was left (QZXVWJ) didn't contribute to any 5 letter words without using the excluded ones. It was a highly logical next step.

The fam is really getting into this game. We're all doing it daily and comparing results. Lots of fun. I found this game board online and pulled the trigger.

Nah... only kept my attention for about 3 weeks. I think it would be different if I could play multiple times a day.
