I split my workout into three sets. Biceps/Back, Triceps/Chest, Legs
I usually go two days on, one day off, so my schedule doesn't fit a weekly time line as it rotates. I usually workout around 7-8:30 pm. If I'm playing basketball, I'll just skip my lifting for the day, as I'm usually too tired to give it a good go on the weights.
Unfortunately I had a couple of injuries back to back that caused me to miss the gym for about 2 1/2 months, and I've yet to return is strong fashion. It sucks to see all the hard work disappear so quickly. However, I know that I can add probably 1.5 lbs of lean muscle to my frame per week if I'm eating and working out right.
I sometimes use Creatine, but not always. I love my protein. I use
www.atlargenutrition.com. It is the best tasting protein that I've ever had. The Nitrean/Opticean/Maximus is very, very good in both taste and nutritionally. They use a blend of proteins so they are absorbed at different rates, which is ideal, and it doesn't clump at all even without a shaker. I really can't recommend these guys enough, great service and a great product. I'm loyal with them.
When lifting I'll have a banana for breakfast and a protein milkshake. But I'll use two scoops and 16oz of milk. Add another two probably at night, one before/during the workout and another post. Do that and you can get ripped pretty quickly depending on where you're starting.
