^^^^^^or..... I have not made up my mind........as
to who wins, but it will go 7 games.
...Rick, I always thought those Bills teams got a bad rap...I mean, other than the Bills, no one has even come close to going to the SB 4 years in a row...incredibly hard to do, especially nowadays when it's so hard to keep a team together.
...the Buffalo Super Bowl teams that lost those 4 SBs had what, 4-5 Hall of Fame players?
Ron I'd agree with you if a few of those SB loses were close but with the exception of the 20-19 loss to the Giants in 91 they pretty much got bitch slapped in 92, 93 & 94.
As far as going to the super bowl 4 straight seasons other teams have come close like the 1974-1977 Viking going to 3 & going 12-2 in the year they didn't make it (1976) And the 1987-1990 Denver Bronco's who also saw & lost 3 SBs in that time frame.
...none of those teams even lost 3 in a row, but whatever. The fact is that the vast majority of SBs are blowouts but that doesn't mean the losing team was not also a very good team.
...the point is, the Bills were unfairly labeled as "chokers" even though they were great teams.
One of the very best games ever televised, (other than the Heidi Bowl, of course) was that 92 Season's Wild Card Playoff game, on Jan. 3rd 1993. I could of swore that game was played in Houston, but it wasn't, it was in Buffalo......
Reich takes back the game after a halftime 28-3 Houston Lead, followed by a 35-3 lead in the early 3rd Quarter, when the Oilers scored again. The rest is History, Buffalo and Reich claimed the WC. 41-38........and 3/4ths of the TV Viewing audience turned the channel at Half-Time.......
