World Trade Center

Just saw this at a free screening at Dover Air Force Base tonight. Anyone else going to see it when it comes out? I have to say I got goosebumps at the beginning when it starts out with simply the date September 11, 2001. Although, I would have to say I was slightly disappointed. Going in I already knew it would focus on two individuals from the event and they tried to keep it as close to facts as they could. But I thought it took away some elements from the film. Such as, within the first 5-10 minutes, you don't see the actual planes hit, their simply talked about as the cops make their way to the site after the first one had hit. The 2nd one is simply said as a rumor by a cop on the bus who was told via cell phone. And the other element was how the film focused on only two characters and their families. I really thought they should have gone through all the aspects other people went through, they somewhat did with a ex- Marine but that was about it. People in the building for example(they do show one person jumping from a building at a distance). But other then that, a very good film, I know there are some who says it's too early but the film really doesn't exploit the incident, only shows how we as people came together during a tragedy.

Ive been wanting to see it since I heard about it, it seems like a good movie and since seeing Flight 93 last week ive been wanting to see it even more. I am hoping that it does it justice and presents it in a good way not something crappy, but with the respect that this subject deserves.

They didn't show anything that hadn't been seen on TV(used actual feeds) and left most of it to your imagination. You don't see the plane hitting the building and witnessing what it would have been like had you been in the office, because nobody knows. Again, something I thought was kind of disappointing but you see they tried to stay to the facts.

Cage ain't a bad actor. He's done his share of good movies, Face-Off, Lord of War, Matchstick Men, 8mm, Bringing Out the Dead. More like outlaw Uwe Boll from ever touching a video camera.

Flight 93 is about the plane that was planned to hit DC crashed into some rural area in Pennsylvania after some courageous passengers tried to take back the plane.World Trade Center is about the story of 2 men going in the building and trying to save some people, but ended up getting trapped under it.

I saw it today, I teared up in a couple parts, good movie.

I saw it over the weekend. I thought it was a great movie, even though it only really focused on two people, and I thought they could have done more to re-live 9/11. It was still a very good and emotional movie. A couple of people in the theatre actually teared up.Good movie.
