Just a horrible, horrible loss. You cannot lose to a shitty team on the road in an empty arena. I'm extremely pissed off right now.

And the blazers are like 1-6 in close games this year. They always choke in crunch time. We need major changes.

If we're gonna be a lotto team, I want to be a bottom feeder. No fucking point being 9th or 10th.

Blow this m'fer up and get some talent that isn't mentally weak.

Get a new coach.

Seriously, what is the point of treading water anymore? Look at the way the Blazers are playing! Even if they make the playoffs, they aren't winning anything. Come on.

Rick Adelman is turning heads with a less talented Minnesota group, and here we are passing on him for Nate....

I'm sick of these assholes. They have the talent to be a lot better but just do not bring it. I'd make a consolidtion trade, even if it means we lose Batum, Wallace and Matthews and whoever.....just keep LA. Batum is so fucking over-rated and he'll never amount to anything but an average player in this league. Get Rondo from Boston, hit the lotto and try to get a 3rd piece.

These are the games when you miss a player like Roy. Of course it's moot because even here on half a leg; probably wouldn't do it, just the concept of that closer. We used to be spoiled.

All the losses have been bad. I still say the Suns loss was the worst.

I can't wait for the team to do something about this.

like, have another team meeting. Or bench Batum more.

Nah, I think the worst loss if the season was OKC @ Wizards.

I wanted us to get Rick Adelman too, but Nate must have naked pictures of Paul Allen or something......I'm done with Nate too! This team is not working efficiently.

John, quit protecting your friends. You are too close to the team to be an objective voice in this. This Blazer team is fucking horrible. No energy, no flow, and Nate is washed up. The team has quit on him. Time for a bomb to go off in that locker room.

thats probably OKC's only bad loss. Portland has had several. The Phoenix loss, the Clipper loss and this loss. All games they didn't show up for.

The west is very good this year, and here the Blazers are dropping games to shitty eastern teams, and tonight against a shitty Detriot team without Gordon or Charlie V.

We're most likely going to be a lotto team this year. I think we've done all we can do with Nate. We've not gotten out of the 1st round, and his teams are so inconsistant, and seem to be confused on offense.

Are we going to be one of those .500 teams that are never good enough to win a playoff series but never draft any players good enough to elevate us?

I don't see anyone out there who is better than McMillan. Can anyone name any? He has a good reputation among writers, and he is the assistant coach for the national team.

Bill Laimbeer, if for no other reason this organization needs a change at coach.

But McMillan is respected by the media. If writers have a high regard for him and he likes to spend his summers being an assistant coach somewhere, he must be an excellent coach.

You guys need to detach yourselves as I have.

GO NINERS!

I was detached, but the good start got me pumped up. Oooh, the 49ers....at least we have a week or 2 to cheer for a winner.

I wonder if a new coach can do for the Blazers what Harbaugh did for the 49ers.

I'm going to give you a chicken-shit answer: Yes and no. The situations aren't exactly comparable; the Niners had a lot of talent, but they vastly under achieved under the horrific, "hide your women, hide your children" Mike Singletary. Secondly the NFL really does have a lot of parity; in one year you can pretty drastically alter the composition of your team and fill holes. Lastly, stars and elite players don't have quite as much impact because they don't play every snap of the game, and except for the quarterback they don't even control the ball except for half the game.

All that said, I don't believe and haven't believed for some time that Nate is a good or great coach. He's a very average coach and should be replaceable. If only Hubie Brown were 20 years younger.
