WE BECOME INSTANTLY BETTER. LOWRY IS THE STEAL IN THIS DEAL.

MIKE MILLER WOULD GO CRAZY PLAYING WITH KIDD AND JEFFERSON. PLUS HE ACTUALLY MAKES THE BACKCOURT BIGGER AND HE CAN PLAY SOME POINT. I DONT KNOW WHO IS BETTER THOUGH DEFENSIVELY HIM OR CARTER.

No thanks.

Lowry potential is high but we have Marcus who has a high potential once he comes back.

hell yes. I'd trade anyone on our team for Miller. even if we get Cardinal back.

Lowry would be a fantastic backup to Kidd, but I think this trade is pointless.

I prefer to trade Marcus over Wright in that deal honestly.

I can't understand why you would even suggest such a trade, unless you're bored and just for laughs. Just think the Janitor comes to NJ. Wow. and lets trade an Intl superstar for a guy who averages about 10 points per game less on his career, will create less for others and doesn't have that amazing vertical leap....good idea

Memphis would do this deal in a heartbeat. Giving up a big waste of space, giving PT to JCN and getting rid of a girl.

Of course, Memphis has to add a bit more, (more specifically picks)
But I like what we are getting in return so far-a better back up pg, a good shooter, and a serviceable forward who hustles just as much as Armstrong. Again though, more pieces are needed just because Carter.

Horizontal is less of a commodity.

Personally I think this is a big downgrade. VC is the biggest scoring threat for the Nets, just as good a passer as Miller, and draws double teams. Miller is the 3rd option on his team.

Miller plays 38 mpg, 16 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 3.9 apg, 2.8 TOpg
Carter plays 38 mpg, 22 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 4.8 apg, 2.5 TOpg

Carter gets to the free throw line 6.3 times per game, Miller gets to the line 2.8 times per game.

Mike Miller couldnt kick ass in the WNBA

hmmm....not to be a downer but I don't think Mike Miller is what the Nets need, how many shooters do you want ? you still have Antoine Wright who is young and cheap and can do more things than Miller like help out on defense and crash the boards, I think especially now w/ Magloire being upset maybe Kiki tries to search in the D-League, Chris Taft is back from injury and that kid has more talent when he wants to play than Mags and Collins put together.

Chris Taft

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Kid Chocolate @ Jan 6 2008, 11:49 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>lol @ chris taft helping an nba team.
</div>

he does have talent and would be a cost effective acquisition for Kiki if they plan on keeping Nenad. He would be a part time player w/ high upside if all turns out well, don't forget what Kidd did for Mikki Moore, and Andray Blatche in Washington use to be categorized the same way as Taft. I said it can be something Kiki looks into, cheap and may have high rewards
