I have Wave Broadband and cannot find the game anywhere. I looked at league pass and I'm blacked out. Is this how the entire year will be?

The Expansion Kraken get the regular channel, Blazers get pushed to the side and onto a channel that is not available to all in Oregon. Oh well the Blazers are getting paid, they don't care about the fans.

The Seattle Kraken is the favored team of the northwest teams!

I was blacked out of one game but have been able to see the rest. Why I was blacked out of the one game beats the hell out of me especially since it was a road game far far from Portland.

Kind of how a lot of fans who can’t watch the games anymore are feeling. Sigh!
You mean like MY family for the last 12 + years. Where was your outrage the past decade plus bro? Why all of a sudden your hurt?

I’m confused. More people can now watch than last season. How is that worse?
They're not even broadcasting it on the main channel the last two games. Kraken game wasn't until 6:30 while the Blazers game was at 4 and it was still on ROOT Plus. Some platforms don't have that option and people have no streaming options and the one they do have likely doesn't have ROOT+.

You're the only one in here who seems to think this is going well.

Many accepted that they made a mistake and walked into the something they didn't understand.

That's not an excuse this time. People expected an actual improvement.

In spite of the teams bad start, ratings are better than ever. In the industry of televised sports….. thats how things are measured if they are “going well” or not.

Not understanding this my man. Curious what you mean.

I (and everyone else in here) is viewing it from a consumers perspective, which you obviously arent.

What cable provider were you using? I would bet you were streaming and not using a local provider right?

The team only cares about their bottom line. But they did get Alaska now, so woo!

Kind of like their shooting guard. The only respect they need is on the 1st and 15th.

Tho that belongs in a different thread, that statement struck me a little odd too.

But the problem is (everyone in here) isn't viewing it though right? I've said before, my family wasn't able to watch games for 12+ years.....this isn't a new problem. I knew what I could do to watch it, but chose not to. These cable/satellite companies don't give a fuck.

No sir. We have been with DirecTV for 20 years. DirecTV doesn't have NBCSports or Pac-12 Network. I know all I had to do was switch to Comcast/Ixfinity, I was just being stubborn. Didn't want to change.
People who are all of a sudden outraged need to realize that this isn't a new problem.

He's stated like a thousand times that he's a directv customer... not their streaming service the satellite service. They didn't get NBC/Comcast Sports Network but they do get ROOT.

The funny thing about all of this is that now both Comcast and Directv subscribers get ROOT (I know there are some areas where kinks need to be worked out) plus there are two competitively priced streamers (directvstream, fubotv) that people can get the games on. By including Directv, the television provider with the second largest market share, ROOT has increased access to Blazers games for Blazers fans. That's not considering the fact that right now there are two options for cord cutters... maybe it's ten dollars more or doesn't have all of the channels you've gotten used to but they're still streaming services and I'm pretty sure if you're streaming right now, you're not in a contract and free to switch over to one of these two services that offer Blazers games.

The shit where the Blazers are being preempted by the Kraken is not cool. If you're anywhere in Oregon, it's my understanding that's a mistake and you need to contact ROOT about it so they can fix it. If you're in Washington, outside of the Vancouver area, I'm pretty sure you're fucked. Still the bottom line is that more people that pay for TV in the Portland/Vancouver area are able to watch Blazers games with ROOT than could with NBC Sports. So your complaints that the Blazers care less or continue to care just as little are incorrect. By expanding access they have shown they now care more about how many fans can watch.

And for fucks sake just get on Reddit and stream the shit for free if you don't like the other options.
