And Cashman at making improvements is batting zero. Another scary series for Yankee Fans.

They will need to do something to better that bottom of the lineup situation no doubt.

After this series the hype about the Nats rotation will appear real.

We have to get the Nats just when Harper is the hottest bat in baseball right now.

Lineup posted in the OP. Of course no A-Rod.

This series is what I call "too easy". The Nats coast.

And just like that back to back HRs & we're down 2 zip.

Sane old crap different toilet. This team is familiar with Eovaldi, may we hope all the AL East Teams lose tonight.

The only question tonight, does a pitcher finish the game with a higher AVG than Drew.

9 up 9 down & 9 straight ground outs. C'mon guys at least get the ball out of the infield.

Unreal, Drew comes through with the bases juiced, saw it hard time believing it.

OK. 4 1/2 inn Yanks up 6-2. Gio Gonzo way off.
If Drew hits him, he must have nothing tonight.
Can Nats come back on these Yankees? Why not.

Not sure I just hope its not the groin or a hamstring.

Ellsbury exits with right knee injury.....sliding into 2B.
UNBELIEVABLE! Their hottest hitter and bingo....on the downside.

Fragile.

That's why you don't walk the lead off hitter with a 6-2 lead.

6-5 and still going. This will be a wonderfully blown game.

That's it Eovaldi lets give it right back 6-5 now.

It's ridiculous how this team can never save the pen. Turns out to be a terrible start by this clown.

Its got to be the most over used pen in baseball or at least in the AL.

Coincidence maybe but through this whole game score and article there is an article about Judge right beneath it. Possible promo or call up???????????

Nats are a powerhouse built team. Yankees are "taped"
together..... [PUN INTENDED]. No comparison. Even
tied 6-6, Nats look like a winner.

Carpenter sucks- a worse version of Shawn Kelley.
And as long as the "pitching coach" and the catchers don't constantly emphasize Eovaldi to throw more curve balls more often DOWN in the zone just far enough out of the strikezone.....Eovaldi will NOT be an asset to this pitching staff.

Hard to understand how the catchers and coach can't stay on top of this guy and help him along with his breaking balls DOWN below the strikezone.

I hardley ever see McCann walk out to the mound and give this guy some "reminders".

you have to expect injuries to happen, this is why i don't agree with girardi's players nites off.

McCann is another poorly producing jerkoff.
