A fairly large game.
Baltimore, 1st game of the series, 1st game without Miller,
Betances is THE closer, Jimenez has pitched well lately, can Pineda keep on keeping on, how will he react to his extra rest, tight division, can Yanks continue to put points on the board, (?), new 8th inning setup guys, Yanks need to bounce back from their last loss and avoid a June swoon tailspin....Yanks don't have an off day until July 2.

This is the beginning of a portion of the schedule where the Yanks/Division race will take shape as we approach the All-Star break.

Yep, a fairly large "June game".....there'll be others lol.
Yanks ARE facing a tough road with some pressure and need to make the "adjustment" without their closer. -- tight race, ....baseball!

I saw a short interview with Ubaldo, in which he said, Pedro has been working with him, with his delivery, and a few other mechanics......

But I still think Ubaldo is a one year phenom from Denver......hopefully Ubaldo's wheels will fall off early in the game, or leave Him in, enabling the Yanks to kick his ass, & put a large point differential up, before he's hooked off of the mound....

On paper the pitching matchup would favor the Yankees, let's hope it remains so between the lines.

F'king great, bases loaded, nobody out & they come away with SHIT!!

Completely ridiculous how many times this team seems to fail in that bases loaded and nobody out situation. On top of that Pineda is clearly out of wack after missing a start.

On, I thought pineda was wearing CC's cap.

I'll take 1-0 out of that inning but still shaking my head over that top if the first.

Adds a whole new meaning to the term, "Missed opportunities".

I really hope A-Roid gets hit #3000 on the road so its not celebrated.

Headley is becoming way too much of a liability at third.

Not your play Pineda. I swear what are they doing tonight?

Arod's 660, 661 HRs and him passing Bonds for #2 on the all time RBI list were treated just a little more than blips in the news.

"Nobody" is doing alot of celebrating over "anything" Arod does.

Personally, I hope he gets a gazillion HRs and RBI because it will HELP the Yankees win games....and the last time I checked, MLB isn't discarding any runs Arod produces.

They count on the scoreboard!

Yeah screw Arod. We should root for him to fail every AB. I mean seriously some need to get over it already.

Nice going Pineda. Now its 5-1. that 1st first inning is really looming large now.

Not saying that Vic, I just don't want to see ANY of his so-called milestones get celebrated.

I don't think they will be celebrated but you can't just not acknowledge them.

Yankee defense is a huge liability. Will cost team 15 - 20 games......
and I'm being conservative.

Well 15-20 is ridiculous but it's becoming a problem for sure. Actually, Headley is the real issue.

Meanwhile Chris Davis, (aka K machine and the guy who got suspended for 25 games last year for taking an enhancing drug) just hit a 3 run HR.
