Don't have a great feeling about this one either.

Montgomery vs. McCullers

Lineups to follow...

Another "character builder" for Jmo, gonna have to get him out in the trenches against top competition. Offense has to come out and support that kid. Go Yankees!

Gardner -LF
Sanchez -C
Holliday -1B
Castro -2B
Ellsbury -DH
Judge -RF
Gregorious -SS
Headley -3B
Hicks -CF

JoMo will be pitching against a very disciplined, good Astros team. A good outing will go a long way for his future starts.

Thank goodness Carter in riding the pines!

We are heading out to the Local Sports Bar down the street to watch the game for a couple of hours. They have plenty of Tequila there if necessary.

They need to be making DFA plans for that guy after Bird gets back. How he managed to hit all those home runs is beyond me!!!!!

...Lil...try a straight shot of Patron (gold version is my fav but silver will work) ...chilled with lime and a little salt. And trust me, whatever kind of tokillya shot you do, ask for an "OJ back" (just a sip on the side)...and when you throw the shot back, immediately reach over and do the OJ... the usual "tequila face" magically disappears ...it will blow your mind and you'll never drink tequila any other way...unless it's in a "top shelf margarita".

I suddenly have a massive craving for Mexican food now.

I usually only drink Wine but when at a Bar it's always Margarita's and I will try one of those tonight and try not to get Shitfaced. :biglaugh:

^^^^^well, it's a good idea for you and hubby to try Ron's concoction.... then both of you will be shitfaced & mindless! LOL

What a happy night out!

It's not going to be a late night probably be home around 8:30 then I have to make Fried Chicken and try not to burn myself.

What the Hell is going on??? I come home and see Headley fighting with the fat umpire.

Carter, 41 Hr's in 016, a .222 b'avg with 206 K's, and he's on a pace to break his own Strikeout record of 212 K's in 013, hope to hell he gets DFA'd....

Trashman definitely raided Milwaukee's trash...

I'm not making a thread for tomorrow because I know it's going to be rained out. We have a NorEaster coming to the East Coast. I will keep you guys posted on the make up day. In the meantime Yankees are lifeless tonight and I'm going to have another drink and watch the Basketball Playoffs. :bgrin:

are you saying, Easter did not come yet in the North....? i doubt the easter bunny will show up, cuz I trapped and bbq'd it...

It is becoming clear, one that Houston is the better ball club........two, this Yankee team will have a good
season but not to be confused with a champion level team such as the Astros. Our pitching is not on a par
with the best baseball teams.
It is also very clear after a month and a half of baseball there are players such as Carter, Headley &
Ellsbury actually shorten the lineup making it easier for opposing pitchers.

Tomorrow will be a rainout here in the Northeast........as Lillie said. Sunday's night game will
probably get played. Just let's move on and only hope they get one win.

And WTF is up with NY's closer? Not so reliable lately!
I wonder if Cashman can milk a contending team by trading Chapman again? Lol

Come on now Rob, don't be a smart ass. That's disgusting...........how can you eat a rabbit.

Why not trade the whole pitching staff and Headley while your at it.

Saturday's Game is officially Postponed. I will post the make up date when it's available.

Doubleheader on Sunday: 1st Game is 2:05 pm on Yes, 2nd on ESPN at 7:35 pm pitching information is not available yet.

As one might figure McCann would be the one to get a 3 run bomb. In the case of Jmo, rookie who has promise but has to pitch in these type of games. This team has suddenly acquired the "all at once slump" found in the 13' through '16 teams. The Astros won fair and square last night, game one was winnable no thanks to Ellsbury. The big pitching fuck up last night was Chapman, never wanted to see that guy in the first place. You trade a man to a team that wins the World Series and they don't seem to want him back, damn. You have a man who hit 41 bombs and his team doesn't want him back, see Cashman, he'll hire anyone. I just hope the Yankees will come up with a win so they don't fuck up the Captains night.

Have to keep things in perspective. The Astros are one of the leagues top teams right now and the Yankees weren't picked by anybody to be. The start has been great but you always have to be fearful of offensive numbers that just can't possibly be sustained. You're also going to have your ups and downs with young players. It's just what you have to deal with.

It evens out i suppose...hell, we just kicked the shit out of the world champs in their own building...and nobody was expecting that either.

Exactly. In a 162 game marathon you just have to enjoy the ride. If I go nuts over every game like I do the NFL I'll be fried by the 4th of July.

^^^^^Lil, nah! Seve, Tanaka & JoMo have a bright future. Would love to
get rid of CC & Pineda, along with Layne and Carter & Headley. These
characters are just biding their time in Yankee pinstripes.
