...looks like I missed a great ending for us for a change...happy for the Yanx...happy for Frazier.

...I still would not be surprised if he's traded.

Well, unless they send him down which is possible (see andujar) when Hicks gets back someone has to go. Unless they're either getting an established pitcher back for him or some team is taking Ellsbury in the deal I hope Gardner is the one they find a new home for. Also, since we're in a transitional season despite our success they should eat the rest of headleys contract like they did a rod and jettison him out of here and let andujar play third the rest of the season

That could've been a season saving win.

The Yankees need to keep all of those kids in their system and place premium concentration on getting rid of the duds. Easier said than done. Big dollars come off of the books with A-hole, Biggie, and Pineda coming off of the books. I don't know how the rest of you feel but those kids could damn good economical additions so the Yankees won't get stupid and sign the Machado and Harpers for outlandish sums. Now if Cashman could figure out how to land a Trout within reason I'd probably like that.

The problem is the yanks can't protect all their prospects with the rule 5 draft so some will have to be moved anyway. Just hope cash moves the right ones and gets some assets back for them.

Yankees pursuing Trade for Marlins Justin Bour as per Bronx Bombers Beat.

^^^This...unfortunately, there's no place for Frazier as a starter for the foreseeable future considering the Yanx are saddled with the contracts of Ellsbury/Gardner, not to mention the eventual return of Hicks.
...and Frazier's value is relative high right now, so Cashman may parlay that into a trade for a starter...Sonny Gray/Jose Quintana, both of which are young, healthy, relatively cheap, and under team control till 2020/2021.

Dombrowski, Red Sox GM, tooting his horn about the solid starting pitching he has ready for the Yankees
come after the All-Star break..........Pomeranz, Sale, Porcello, and Price. States that they are much more solid
than pitching hungry Yankees.

SOB.......... would love to see Yankees dent his snobbism!!!!!!!

Like to see the Yankees go up there and replicate the '78 Boston Massacre, or the '06 five game Fenway Sweep.

Ellsbury's playing so bad, he'd make any one else look great....I don't see Jacoby waving his no trade clause, even if fans began to pour beer down upon him, hell use the draft keg in the LF-CF sports lounge if you got to, and/or the **other hoses galore. Make him expect a bath every outing, enough he'd want' to go anywhere but the Bronx...

Very interesting conundrum, whose gonna' go, whose gonna' stay or, who will be desperate enough to take Dingleberry even if they paid half his wages to leave. I think teams would be more interested in Gardner than the others, jes saying, I've never been a fan but he hustles, even when he mnisplays a ball, doh- NTM- the Yanx need arms worse.

imo, Jacoby would rather be **pissed on by the fans every outing, than leave his kush job; altho' a trade may be forefront in his mind, as its obvious his career is in full "tilt" shut down mode, like a pinball game. Get the fk out before his game flat out implodes beyond repair, as if its not already.

I think we've all agreed at some point Headcase needs replaced badly or bought out, and Carter has no business even being on a MLB field, not even as a bat boy...

btw- nice game winning walk off by Red, would like to see a lot more of him before a decision is made; the clock is ticking fast....

I don't think the Yanx can talk Bucky Dent into signing, nor could he hit that HR at 65, almost 66 yrs young.... :devilwink::notworthy2:
