Thank God they are off today, I have to cook for a bunch of Mexicans that are coming over tomorrow night. Happy Cinco de Mayo. :bgrin:

'may the 4th be with you', and beware of the 'revenge of the fifth'....

I know today is "Star Wars Day", my Husband is a big fan. Personally I have only watched the first two.

I heard it's not the revenge of the fifth, but the revenge of the sixth, ie sith...:smiley-pat:

"Aaron Judge is lighting it up for the Yankees. After his home run Wednesday, he has the most homers in the first 25 games by a rookie in MLB history."

Judge is the man thus far, Sanchez is back, that's Jekell, Pineda on the mound, that's Hyde. Why am I not confident with that man in the rotation. Note to Buck Showalter: heard your "we almost took 2/3 in New York." Was that like almost winning the post season game against Toronto

...lol...that's just plain mean.

...and oh, note to Showalter; your team came as close to being swept in NY as they did winning 2 out of 3.

That's ok Rob I knew what you meant. :bgrin:

How long has it been since the Yanx played in Wrigley??
2014, tho' it seems like 1938 all over again...well, almost :smiley-smiley-049:

Chapman should get his 108 Diamond, W.S. ring today, but will it be on the field...?

Girardi began his career on this Field, now, let's beat the World Champs...
let the games begin...!!!

who in there right mind doesn't love Wrigley Field...:devilwink:

It is pouring rain here in the Bronx lets hope that Wrigley is dry.

Doesn't look like any rain in the Chicago forecast until later tonight.

...goddamnit Hicks, you gotta make sure that ball hits the ground....wasted opportunity.

I'm so fucking sick of Gardner and his BS "working the count" approach...swing the fucking bat.

Having Pineda pitch is scary enough, worse is the Yankees making that Chicago Pitcher look like Cy Young. Offense needs to start clicking.

As Ron has said it's about missed opportunities right now. Can't go crazy about a homer by one of baseball's best players.

...now the wind blows a fly ball 20 feet and results with the Cubs having a runner on 3B due to an error.

...Yanx handed a break by an error in the OF...Headley, you better not screw this up.

......goddamnit Castro, WTF are you doing ? !!!...that had to be one of the most bone headed baserunning plays I've ever seen.

I have no idea what Castro could've been doing there. Have to see the replay but he had to have stopped.
