Not the World Series but seeing the Yankees kicking Dodger Butt in the '16 regular season to spoil their pennant chase is almost as nice. Go Yankees waiting on Judge to start smoking the ball!
When I look at the size of Judge I get immediate recollections of Dave Winfield. Both big, athletic, outfielders, right handed hitters in a yard favorable to lefties. Winnie in my estimation was a great player, and I'm hoping Judge will catch on and be in that mode. Sanchez & Austin are coming along, I'm hoping Judge will as well.
interesting.....but I'm pretty sure that Rob has smoked just about anything that'll combust.
indeed if it didn't smoke me first, ( ie Hydrazine handling, underwater Beryllium drilling ops et al )....
wait, those have nothing to do with smoking baseballs, -
...how many rolling papers do you have to stick together in order to wrap them around a baseball?

Castro having some season.
...just my 2 cents, but I don't think Judge is anywhere near the same league as Winfield...could he be as good of a Baseball player as Winfield?...I suppose it's possible but I seriously doubt it.
...purely because of his size and brute power, I'd compare Judge to someone like Giancarlo Stanton.
Judge may have been up sooner but the retard in the GM Office chose to take another route. When I first became a fan of this team the Yankees brought them young then kicked their asses out when they were on the verge of mediocrity. Under Cashman they signed those with historical pasts and dim futures. Recently we've seen the influx of youth which has lit up some fuses that spark. That trend must continue, it's OK to get a F/A in late '90's style IE spend wisely. I don't know how anyone else feels but I think something snapped in Yankee land with heads threatened to be rolled. We'll probably never know what really happened, but has anyone noticed that since one individual left the team just skyrocketed. I don't have friends in or knowledge of the Yankee Clubhouse but I firmly believe that that individual was much more of a clubhouse cancer and distraction than was leaked. I formed that idea in my head back during the '12 playoffs when he was sat and Ibanez stepped in and up with production. The Yankees are now moving in a positive manner but I still have limited faith in the GM!
