C. Sabathia (8-12, 4.27)

vs.

J.Urias (5-2, 3.69)

Lineups to follow...

My Dad is doing a jig in heaven. As a Dodger fan, he suffered many years, waiting for his Bums to make hay.
1955 he bought every paper he could purchase and plopped them down in front of me. Full of glee his
Dodgers beat my Yankees in Game 7 at Yankee Stadium 2-0 thanks to Johnny Podres. Yeah, I suffered.
But I couldn't help to enjoy my Dad's happiness.
So, losing last night to the Dodgers gave the ghosts of yesterday a little joy. For me, I refuse to suffer like
that day the Yankees lost a World Series to those Bums!

^^^^I'd say 4 too many........by next year it might be down to 2. That's progress!

Looking like April through July get off the God Damn Deck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's it Tex. Hit it where all the fielders are when the entire left side is open.

...hats off to CC for keeping the Yanx in this game....can't afford to lose 3 in a row.

^^^^sarcasm will get you everywhere. Lol
Like so many here, I'm tired of his game. And very thankful he's retiring.

Can't lose this game with Kershaw on the mound tomorrow.

Didi makes it back to back and a belly to belly.

Wow..... Gary Sanchez again it's really unbelievable.

...Sanchise, still raking...damn it's nice to enjoy watching this team once again....Joe keeps pushing the right buttons.

Feel good win. Maybe they hit Kershaw tomorrow.

From Jayson Stark. How about this. The Elias Sports Bureau reports that Jacoby Ellsbury & Didi Gregorius are the 1st Yankees since July 14, 1957 (Moose Skowron, Tommy Byrne) to go back-to-back in a game they didn't start. That was the last year the Dodgers played in Brooklyn!

...yeah, the Yanx have set quite a few records in the last month.

I find this stat eerie........59 years when da Bums fled to California.

Always nervous when Sabathia starts, credit to him tonight he earned a steak dinner over the Cheeseburger in Paradise at post game spread. The elder and baby bombers strike with bombs, late inning lightning damn nice, Yankees gat a w.

Nice to see a 5 Hitter, controlled well on auto pilot, good game by Yanx Pitcher's...

Sanchez, what a breath of fresh air. It feels great to have a young player like this, one who keeps fans faces glued to the game. Hope he stays healthy, and continues playing like he has. Was thinking how long has it been, since a kid, let alone several other rookies/prospects, out of the blue, over a very short time period, have the Yanx had a player(s), who have got one's attention like Sanchise does. Since Jeter, for individual players? Team wise, yet to be determined...

This sure as hell beats Maas 1990 streak, (tho' there was never doubt he'd never be the starter**)
or- the So. Cal. crazed 1986's Wally (Joyner) World, not my gig, my Wife's; women loved the kid; ...

**Maas isn't an accurate or fair comparison, entire different situations, years, type of teams, not a healthy prospect with a future in MLB.

Judge looks done for the season. Strained oblique.
