Hey guys I don't know if you remember me from the old espn boards. I was the one who used to post the 3 stars of the game. I do believe I went back and forth with 59 a couple of times. Anyway I just wanted let you know I have been reading your comments for years and you guys just crack me up. So I figured I would stick my head in and say hi and thank you for entertaining me all these years.

Thanks for the warning...btw do you have any idea where Rick got that video of the guy having a meltdown after coming out of the grocery store it was hysterical and I want to share it with my friends.

Little, welcome to the board. Nice bunch of yankee fans who have no problem praising them or killing them as their play warrants. Are you a hockey fan also. If yes, the ranger board is also good here

According to Webster's its :
1- a descendant of the early Dutch settlers of New York; broadly : a native or resident of the city or state of New York —used as a nickname.
2- Knicker (as in shorts).....

Since the majority of Dutch Settlers, made their homes in York Town, and most all were Quakers, why don't they change their name to the Quakers, and have the Quaker Oats guy as their Mascot Logo?????

Hell, General Mills, might just offer the Knicks a free use of their patent logo, for the free publicity. Next thing ya' know they'll be showing commercials of Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, eating their Oats....

I'd hate like hell to see the Knickers the Team would wear IF, they gave the Team's current name, a make-over, rather an explanation of what their funky team name means..........The Knicks might become the 1st team to wear hats too in the NBA, just like Mr. Quaker in the post above.......

Sportstwo was mainly formed as the official message board of the Portland Trailblazers. It then grew to include board for other sports and teams. That's why it shows West Coast time. I'm in New Jersey myself.

Thanks I lived in New York my whole life and just moved to Florida a couple of months ago.
 
north San Diego county.....but born & raised at the Jersey Shore.
